Hi Josh. There aren't specific on-campus requirements for certificates, and they are cool to have, but you'll get the most utility from the degree itself.

With a BS, MBA, and currently closing in finishing my MS at Duke, I just do not want another degree. I'm considering a graduate certificate in Statistics from NC State right now but open to other things as well. HES has a few offerings that interest me.

A couple of the reasons I went to ASUOnline -- 1). the professors and curriculum are exactly the same as the on-campus students and 2). my diploma and transcript are no different from an on-campus student. Personally, I would not want to have "Global" on my diploma, and I wouldn't want to have different professors and curriculum (like SNHU, for example).

HES is great. If you can handle the cost, go for it!

Very valid point. That is why I originally didn't join Coursera's O.P. Jindal University partnership, because the degree states online on the diploma. That information has since been moved from the front of their degrees to the back. For legal reasons, Indian universities have to disclose the method of instruction- but I'm really grateful that it's no longer plastered on the front of the degree.

My Duke degree will have run me $70,000. HES is much cheaper. ;)

Hahah in that case, go for it. In case you want to see what the certificate looks like, I'll upload mine for you. They are verified now, so they have CE credential codes that people can go to the Harvard website and look up. I've erased any private information like that.
