Apparently this Russian robot that was playing chess with a 7 year old went a bit too far! In the process, breaking finger of the opponent...

They should have a section of code, "do not touch participants". Or something along those lines, so other opponents/participants will get hurt.

Strange, the 7 year old wasn't at all traumatized as he went off to another tournament the next day to play! Good luck to the little guy!

PS: Did "Putin" (or his minions) put in the code for violence or what?!

I note TASS news agency said “This is of course bad.” What an egregious understatement. As if we need to be told.

Definitely calls for some "I'll be back."

Has someone alerted (the late) Isaac Asimov?

I had a chess program once that kept jumping my men and saying "king me" whenever it reached my back row. But I downloaded the upgrade and it was fine.

But at least it didn't try to take your fingers off, Rich. This Russian thing should be smelted down into bobby-pins. Do they still make those? :)
