    Nine of the ten are nursing / diagnostic health or engineering. Marine transportation is the other. That's an interesting one.

    Degrees do not pay anything. Employers do. Failing to make that simple distinction fails not just in rhetoric, but also in critical thinking.

    How I understand these type of bait click articles is that the university, and more so the degree, lands itself to a good paying career for the eventual graduate. As opposed to the myriad colleges that maintain the graduate in a low middle class paying job…until they decide to become a realtor…or switch mid career to cybersecurity because they heard that “cloud and cyber are hot”
