I've actually finished the process and am waiting a course assignment for the next term.

The teaching demonstration thing was removed from the process. You need to let them know when you've completed FLCT 0102 (if that's where you are) by emailing [email protected] and they will update your file and ask for transcripts.

I'm not sure what's going on with my end. The only courses I have access to are "FCLT 0001 Asynchronous Interview - Continuous and FCLT 0101 Faculty Demo Course." The instructions were pretty specific to the feedback portion, and added that I would need to complete an introduction and a quiz. The forum they stated the introduction needed to go in isn't there (leading several others to post in the forum specifically instructing us to NOT post there), and after I completed the quiz, the FCLT 0102 didn't appear as they said it would.

Once you've completed the quiz in FLCT 001 you need to email them.

    Mine looked like this:

    "Good afternoon,

I have completed the 3-question quiz. Per the announcement email in FCLT001, "Once you have submitted Graded Quiz, please email [email protected] so that they can move your file forward in the intake process."

I am ready to be moved forward to the next step of the process."

It's not automatic. They will turn on your FLCT 0102 access after you let them know you did FLCT 0101.

Splendid, thanks. How long did it take them to get back/move you forward after you e-mailed them?

I emailed them May 1, I got an email requesting transcripts May 4 along with an invitation to complete FCLT 0102.

I submitted the transcripts the same day and they were viewed the next day.

I completed the FCLT 0102 on May 5. I got an instructor agreement May 17 and a request to provide my teaching availability the same day.

Dustin, you will have to let me know how it goes. I took some classes there. One of my best professors ever were from there, but so were some that provided the least feedback ever. I think many of these students there are eager to engage though.

Oddly I didn't receive a response to my multiple inquiries, but I did receive an e-mail from the same address I've been trying to contact stating I hadn't finished the Asynchronous Interview yet and encouraging me to do so. Very strange.

UoP not worth the hassle IMO. Try SNHU or Perdoceo, they always seem to be hiring. On boarding seems to take forever with all these online schools:

I have been doing this since 2006 and experience counts for nothing; just luck in getting a position.

I would love to find one of these schools that has maybe a part time administrative type job (HR, registrar, etc). That’s an area I would be interested in - but for now, I also like my full time job. ;)

You can check remote highered gigs, including admin roles, here: https://www.higheredjobs.com/search/remote.cfm

Grenada is beautiful, though, so why be remote?

And this from Google, for Chris's benefit, because I know he doesn't like it when the power goes out. Probably Vicki doesn't either, but she's never said:
"Grenlec is one of the most reliable electric utilities in the Caribbean, serving 100% of the nation (Grenada) with an industry-leading reliability rating of 99.94%*." :):)

That Registrar job would be right up my alley in the future. I do some fun stuff with Excel and Google Sheets in my current job, but I am currently self-taught and don’t know anything about PowerBI or Pivot Tables….. yet.

I got my UOPeople email. You first have to log in to the Outlook email platform using the credentials provided and then change that password. Once you've added an alternate email and/or phone number, you then go back to the Instructor Portal (your.uopeople.edu) and click "Reset Your Password" and give your new UOPeople email, not the personal email you originally used. Then they'll email you a link to reset your Instructor Portal password, which will go to the new inbox you now have access to. Then you can set a password there for the Instructor Portal, and finally log in with the username being your new email and the password being the password you just set.

The Instructor Portal (your.uopeople), the Classroom Portal (my.uopeople.edu) and your Outlook email are 3 distinct platforms with different usernames and passwords.
