Well going back through it - I honestly didn't intend to focus on Chris - at first it seemed a general lack of understanding by many about the symbolism of the laurel wreath, which is what I was responding to - but I see how it got focused on one person in particular, and for that I apologize. Chris has achieved amazing things and contributes a lot to the discussions here, I shouldn't have questioned his take on things in a way that was derogatory. So, I am sorry, Chris and forum.

I think we should drop this and leave this forum to just especially speaking about the program and the amazing value of $3000.

The $3000 (total tuition) offer has been extended to November 1, 2021 - offer for US Students Only - https://mba.hauniv.edu/

Cool, it's back! Get your crack at the RA MBA for $3000. It's better than the UofP NA version at the very least...

  7. I'm going to think pretty hard about it this go round. After reading the thread, it seems everyone that enrolled enjoyed the school and courses.

Just finished my second class. Not bad overall, I got 15/36 credits done so far (9 transfer credits). People should consider joining the program for 3k it's a steal.

My concern going in was that for the inexpensive price, the experience would be lacking, but it really hasn't been. There are certainly some things that can be done better. However, each class I've taken so far has been full of a variety of content, discussions, projects and even some live classes. I actually feel like I'm going to school rather than just getting a degree.

Completely agree, you describe it well. It offers real value beyond the price and a degree to check a box.

Completely agree with you , it’s a hidden gem and the quality of individual attention professors give due to small classes is great. As a student we really get to focus on the topics and get feedback every step of the way from professors. Small cohorts allows us to learn together and share more often. Overall a few things can be fixed or changed but the experience is great and with a knockout price of $3000 can’t beat it honestly. If you need the degree for a check box on a job application , a promotion , or you just want to learn business for personal reasons this is the program to go to.

Another class down seems like the ship has sailed for the 3k tuition.

The main MBA page still says "Affordable tuition starting at $3,000 for our MBA program." but it also says when you click the link that you need to be enrolled by November 2021 so I think you're right. They may just be slow in updating the site.

The date has not been updated still says to enroll by November 01, 2021.

They posted this on LinkedIn today. It would appear that they are either done with the $3k deal, or they are shying away from advertising it.

The full cost of the MBA is around $14k, per the school catalog. At a 20% discount, that would bring it to around $11k. It's not a bad price by any means but there are several other schools, some of them with a longer history and name recognition, with lower costs.

In any case, for someone with a huge fear of missing out, I can finally say that I didn't snooze and I didn't lose :emoji_blush:

Good choice did you sign up? I am already 18 credits done, 18 more to go. Taking three courses in the spring.

Yes, I enrolled back when this was first discussed on the forum and nobody knew if it was going to be extended. I've taken 3 courses, gotten 3 waivers and had to take this past semester off. I should be finished by the end of 2022.

Nice, the same situation took 3 courses and had three waived. I have caught two ships so far before they sailed off. The Excelsior College MPA program when they were accepting up to 27 transfer credits and the Hellenic American Univerity 3k MBA program. Not bad all thanks to this forum. We can also include the 15k doctorate in healthcare administration from the Virginia University of Lynchburg which I just completed.

Congratulations Doctor! Looking at your completed degree history, you obviously had the 90 graduate credit requirement for the DHA. Any word on how many folks need to complete extra semesters to complete that requirement? My guess is after the first and second cohorts, they will start to accept more students with one graduate degree potentially stretching out the length of the program. I hope you make it to the "hooding" and graduation ceremony this spring. It was well worth the trip!

Talking about waivers and transfer credits, are there any doctoral programs that have accelerated options for a 2nd doctoral degree? Did someone mention Liberty?
