    Manafort's huge benefactor and wasn't he the fellow that probably gave Trump 100 million in a real-estate deal?

    I think that was Rybolovlev. But, again, all these guys are close to Putin. Deripaska, specifically, is a huge figure in Putin's orbit.
    Nice to see the Feds making moves against someone this huge. I hope at least a few people in Ukrainian diaspora who justified being pro-Trump by saying "he's tough on Putin" will get a clue now.

    Hopefully the Feds are finally doing their job and investigating the crimes that the previous administration prevented being investigated..

    And remember, Manafort was a huge colluder with the Russians during the campaign. Republicans would like you to re-remember it as not happening, but it did. A lot.
