For non important files that are somewhat small (such as ones on the cell/iphone)...
I copy my documents/files onto Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive and for Apple: iCloud

For my laptops with SSD, I use Macrium Reflect to backup or clone the entire drive contents to HDD.
I'm running out of space for storage and don't like flash/sdcard or usb storage.
I pretty much copy those files from pictures/videos onto my HDD regularly

What do you guys use? Anyone got a recommendation for a file recovery tool for SSD drives that go bad?

I have an external hard drive. I can't remember how much space it has, but I know it's more than 1TB. I'm thinking about paying for cloud-based storage since I'm always editing my music.

I use a USB, and I backup onto a Google Drive. I've been considering getting an external HD myself. I don't use anything fancy for imaging or restore.

When I was writing my dissertation, it automatically saved to Liberty's One Drive. I also save it weekly to my personal One Drive, Google Drive, and thumb drive. Occasionally, I would email it to myself.

That was wise. One of the worst things I ever heard was a recording of a guy find out during a tech support call that the only hard drive on which he had stored his dissertation was irrevocably wiped.

Single-sided 5 1/4" floppy disks. Lots of them.

They're really, really inexpensive anymore. Spinning hard drives are a lot slower than solid state storage.
