Their market seems to be mainly illegal immigrants in California. Check the bogus ID they sell that might have some value to an illegal immigrant that needs an ID from a University that looks official:

I see. But what I was curious about are the types of schools you've been applying to for adjunct positions in this 5 year period you mentioned? Are these all RA schools? Any NA schools? Any unaccredited? Any outside the U.S.?

Their certificates are very impressive with secure paper, nice diploma, etc. It is not easy to come up this by yourself. Think about it, I need a sales guy at a car dealership, a guy comes from Philippines with a marketing ENEB MBA with a foreign degree evaluation from California FCE full of stamps, security and a nice diploma, I might think that I am getting a deal with this fellow and hire him. To the average small business, NACES means nothing and you go with what you see.

I have only worked for RA schools. Salaries at NA or unaccredited are just too low. The lowest I got was at Trident, they used to pay $50 per student, I quit after one course as it was insane the amount of marking.
The adjunct business pays too low and it is too competitive. I believe you are better off now working in new business opportunities as real state, financial investments, etc.

This was a very interesting thread. Am I correct that the only proprios degrees offered at the low rates noted (under $300), in English, and online are ENEB/Isabela and also only in business related fields?

There have been so many threads and pages on this both here and on DegreeForum that it's tough to keep it all straight, but yeah, unless I've missed something, if you're a price conscious English speaker, your only choices are ENEB or GTFO.

Yep. You can find some others for a couple thousand, but they might or might not be in English.

Maybe it's time for some deeper investigation to see if there are more legitimate low-cost Spanish programs in English. We could start posting about English programs offered by Universities in Spain that are just low-cost. I was looking at Rovira and they have dirt cheap prices as low as 20 euros per credit for a Master's, but it appears that while they do teach in English they only do it partially. Maybe there are some programs that are 100% in English there, I haven't searched them all yet.

Sad we have to give up our dream of teaching as adjuncts. Adjuncts have always been poorly paid unless they were teaching at several colleges or universities which is very tiring and inconvenient if you have to travel from campus to campus. Not only that, many colleges have set limits over the years on how many classes you can teach. They also here in Arkansas have limited adjuncts to three classes across the university system. In other words, you are only allowed to teach 3 classes in the University of Arkansas system. If you have 3 classes at one college, you cannot pick up another one from a college in the same system. After working in Education Management for 7 years at my alma mater university, I am now leaving the Adult and Higher Education systems and am now going into Healthcare IT with a 50% increase in salary starting next week!

Cheap, online, in English: pick two. (That seems to be how it works in regards to programs in Spain.)

I am going to share some documents the Director of Administration sent me.

Thanks for sharing. I said before, the documents are very professional. The high school diploma equivalency might have some value as they have a high school diploma license. They have too many recognitions but none of them recognized in the US. As I said before, it might help some people with a document that might give them something to find a job in the local market but not good enough for federal jobs or university jobs. If your ENEB degree passes the California FCE test, it might help some people to get into to some kind of job but maybe the degree alone would be enough.

There is always the option to get an apostille from Spain, the apostille is valid in the US and might help some people to land a job as well.

I was also burnout, I was a professional adjunct for about 7 years and grading hundreds of assignments per week is insane. To make a living, you need to teach 7 or 8 classes at once and this is just too difficult.

The minimum qualification to teach is a doctorate nowadays, the ENEB degree might have some value to teach another subject. Many Universities just want a foreign evaluation for a terminal degree, the rest of education is at the discretion of the University. If you already hold a doctorate, the ENEB degree might help to teach a different subject.

Here is what concerns me about the way they're presenting this all: they seem to conflate having some recognition from some legitimate organizations as equaling the same standing as NACES evaluators have, but that's not how it works. That standing is ultimately determined by immigration authorities, schools, and employers, not simply having a long list of associations. I have no doubt that some of those types of entities have accepted their evaluations, but I also have no doubt that some of those organizations did it without fully realizing what CFCE is.

Referring to their site and all of the types of documents they use to try to prove their standing: Any organization that needs to do all of that to prove their legitimacy gives off "The lady doth protest too much" vibe, and that's usually because they themselves know where they really stand and it's not where they really want to be. We don't see WES or ECE or any other legitimate evaluator doing that, not even the legitimate non-NACES evaluators.

Red flags. I'm sure there is something there, but, red flags.

Then I would just pick one of the NACES evaluators and keep picking until I get rejected from all of them. Only after that would I consider CFCE and I would be doing it with my head hanging reeeal low, lol.

But as it stands, one can just pick from one of the NACES evaluators for their evaluation. There may or may not be disagreement with the outcome, but at least you'll know you're dealing with an organization that has real 3rd party oversight for the chief thing they do (foreign credential evaluation) and doesn't need 100 different pieces of persuasive material to try to prove they belong.

WES or ECE reports are very basic, they just have one page saying the facts. California FCE reports look like books and they go on and on how their evaluations should be recognized. They have a full page of recognition from places in Africa and Latin America, these are American evaluations and the fact that I am recognized in Nigeria does not mean anything as the report is to be used in the US. One thing for sure, the owner of this service is very good at deceiving people with lingo.

I'm curious. Do either of your Arkansas degrees have "University of Arkansas System" written at the top? I ask because the eVersity degrees have it that way. It's written on them as "University of Arkansas System eVersity".

This would be a very expensive approach, you might as well pay for an official degree and go straight with a NACES evaluator.

Right, lol. I was only kidding, exaggerating for effect to illustrate what it would take for me to ever make CFCE an option. Maybe I should stop though. According to one of their sites, they're going after sites and posters legally for posting information they deem as libelous. Doesn't that just make them seem even MORE legitimate?
