I have seen various discussions regarding diplomas and their appearances. I know we do not pursue a degree program for what the diploma looks like but it is always a nice final touch when the diploma has a nice appearance for hanging on the wall in the office. The Rice MBA is a buddy of mines and it is HUGE. The Southeastern MBA and the East Central BS are mine. Pretty similar in size but the SE degree has more appeal and is more of a conversation starter with clients in my office.

Feel free to add to the thread!

Cool! They look nice. I can't wait until something new comes my way, but yeah... <back to studying I go>

Funny, but the doctorate I received from a nontraditional school looks like Cornell or Duke examples above, all traditional looking and reading. And the one I received from the campus-based, traditional UK university looks like the Rice example, only with a lot less detail. The degree I was admitted to (graduated with), date, and a couple of signatures. I've gotten training certificates that look more ornate than that.

When I took my MBA at National University, they awarded a certificate that looked like the Rice example--portrait format at business-like. When I had to ask for a replacement many years later, I received one that was landscape and full of text and all gothic-looking.

And none of it matters in the least.

I actually don't know what Eastern's parchment looks like. Personally out of the three I like Quantic's the best.

Wow! Interesting... Looks very crowded. Seems almost like an enlarged transcript.

Yeah, that's the diploma. The transcript just looks like another transcript.

    It's written on Indonesian.

Sorry for poor quality but here are some of my degrees, don’t think anything is special besides how big John Jay College degrees are. I am missing one more degree which is at my parents residents (masters in criminal justice)

Almost 2 years later, I am resurrecting this thread. I have nothing new to add but I thought this was a cool, and short, thread. Hopefully some new stuff to be added to it.

The Texas Bar license is a bedsheet. The Bar also runs some sort of "College" in the professional association sense of the term membership in which grants another bedsheet. I have a theory about "compensation" but that's based mostly on my deeply seated hostility to the people who run the Lone Star State...

Everyone’s seen a WGU diploma, but here’s my Emporia State one. I note a lot of similarities to the SOSU one, given in the name of the state regents, but in Kansas bearing the signature of all of them.

I began on my MS in Biology on-campus at Emporia State prior to my MBA. My wife got pregnant with our twins and we needed to move back closer to family. I have always wondered what their diplomas looked like! I like it!
