The U.S.-born martial artist has long been a fan of Russian President Vladimir Putin. While Putin, who granted him Russian citizenship in 2016, is a fan of martial arts. Seagal received a party membership card of an alliance named Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth. It was formed earlier this year, when three leftist parties, all of which support Putin, merged into one. ----- Political future for Segal, maybe a Deputat ( Russian Representative/Senator?) some day?
Have a look here. It's interesting. "Me want tha poonani"- https://www.vice.com/en/article/wdpaxn/steven-seagal-is-the-lamest-guy-ever *rofl*
That's how the guy gets into news nowadays... I wonder why he joined the "leftist" "party" - I thought he's supposed to be a conservative. "Just Russia" (I had no idea they merged with some other "parties"; frankly don't care) is a fake political party that is somehow distinct from the main fake pro-Kremlin "party", United Russia. They are supposed to be more populist and to the left of United Russia; of course, there is no practical distinction - both of these are ran from Kremlin. Same goes for the oldest of these, "nationalist" party with the name that lies in 75% or its name - "Liberal" Democratic" "Party" of Russia.
Ha! The name always seemed weird to me, but I never thought of it like that. Another example that comes to mind is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. At least they got the Korea part correct.
This conversation reminds me of the problem facing the Judean People's Front (err.. I mean the People's Front of Judea)
