One of my colleague has completed Advance Diploma in International Business & Marketing, awarded by Edith Cowan University Western Australia back in 2016.

What is the best and cost effective ways to get a top-up degree?

    Preferably an online degree

one of those top up degrees from a UK University would cost around 6k~8k pounds. could be done within a year.

look into U of Portsmouth, U of Derby, or just google for it. there's quite afew that pop up.

    Good Idea

Search for British Top-Up Degrees provided by universities themselves. Look if a Finnish Degree offers what you need. Have a look at CIM (BVI).

    Almost-good-Idea

Search for British education providers who offer a Top-Up Degree as study center.

    Mediocre idea

Look for education providers who offer Spanish Titulo propio Bachelors. Can be found for under 3000 EUR, but are they worth it?

    Rather bad idea

Look for Swiss business schools who offer so-called Top-Up Degrees. At least, be very critical.
Look for Czech business schools who offer unaccredited Bachelor Degrees. At least, be even more critical.

    Abysmal idea

Go to a well-known mill we have discussed more than once here and get their Top-Up Degree which you will find almost immediately if you go a search on google, even if it is very cheap and tempting.

I need a hint! I googled around but haven't been able to find anything that looks nearly millish enough to be the one you were talking about.

Hint: you can guess that the thing is located on „small mountains“. And „small rocks“ are there. Got it? :)

Not a bad guess, but... no, was not the one I had in mind.

    UC Boulder?!

University of Colorado Boulder? No, not nearly millish enough. - Learned from wikipedia that the latter it is surprisingly abbreviated CU Boulder, so, maybe, UC Boulder is something like the Sorbon University (which sounds like a good university, but isn't one).

But no, I did not mean that one.

Look at these two programs. Cost is pretty reasonable.

LOL. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen an AAU member thrown out when playing guess the mill before!

Humboldt charges too much for an unaccredited state-licensed school. Using unrecognized accreditation doesn't help either and best case possibility there is ignorance due to foreign educators being ignorant of the American accreditation system which is common. Worst case is full or at least working knowledge of the system and using it as a workaround attempt, albeit a failed one.

I had a moment of confusion in thinking that I was under the impression Humbolt was fully legitimate. Turns out I was thinking of https://www.humboldt.edu/ a campus of California State University, not the less legitimate one you’re talking about. Tricky, tricky, less than fully legitimate school.

What I find odd is that while the CIAC accreditation is not recognized, I see University of Azteca endorsing it on their website. What this means is that the transfer or studies validation of Humboldt with Azteca gives their degree propio status which could then be validated by University of Central Nicaragua which issues the equivalent RA degree. That's something to think about but you are better off just going to Azteca and/or UCN directly instead of this schema as it would be less expensive. *** I probably need to finish my PhD with Azteca/UCN soon before they get blacklisted by all the foreign credential evaluators.
