    Hello Fellow degree seekers!

Has anyone heard anything about this school (formerly Marbella University)? It seems legitimate at the first glance with ASIC accreditation. However, I wasn't able to find a single review about it, plus the fees are suspiciously low. What might be the catch?

    Thanks in advance.

I haven't looked into the accreditation and they don't actually have the fees listed on their site (sign up for spam? No thanks!) but they are in Spain and tuition in Spain is pretty cheap.

ASIC “ accreditation” is an almost sure sign of garbage. Nothing on their website is doing anything to make me question that first instinct.

I agree, skip it. There are plenty of choices out there, even cheaper as well...

Really? Can you recommend some? Every time I find an affordable option it's either half-accredited or not at all. And I can't really afford anything "triple crown".

Hey just saw you studied at ENEB? I disregarded them for offering cheap electronic certificates, am I missing something?

You can get paper copies of your diploma/transcript, if you want, from ENEB. It just costs a bit extra to do so. Someone posted the fees on the sister forum. It's about $150 for the physical copies of everything.

    So.

    Ummm.

    What does half-accredited mean?

@Viktoria , what is your budget? Where are you located? If you're in the USA, there are RA/NA colleges & universities that offer inexpensive Bachelors & Masters.

I am in Costa Rica, looking for online Masters in English.

There are a lot of them. It might help narrow it down if you told us more about your professional goals. Why specifically a Master degree in English, for example?

Before you answer this question, perhaps clarify this: Do you want a degree in English as the subject of your studies, or a degree where the language of instruction is English, but studying some other subject?

Yes. They are legitimate. The price has no bearing on that but I do understand how it makes people wonder about its standing. Lots of schools offer electronic versions of degrees so nothing improper or odd there. ENEB does offer physical diplomas as well.

It's typical for propios from Spain to be very inexpensive. In general, education in Spain is much less expensive than many other places and definitely way less expensive than the United States, although ENEB's degrees are lower priced than most others even in the Spanish market. Still, legitimate.
