https://www.captechu.edu/online Perhaps this school has been mentioned previously? Online Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral programs in a variety of technology focused areas! A bit pricey at $915 a credit (doctoral). School is well established, private, accredited by Middle States and non profit!
I like their programs, especially Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Artificial Intelligences. The price is about right with a decent school comparing to Nova Southeastern University. The only thing I don't like the name. Capitol Technology University seems not a good credential as highest terminal degree; it sounds like an IT certification name. The suggested name is Capitol Institute of Technology.
"The university was founded in 1927 as the Capitol Radio Engineering Institute by a former US Navy Radioman " and has gone through 4 name changes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitol_Technology_University I like how there are 10 doctoral courses at 6 credits each.
I've never heard about them. How can they charge so much tuition fee when they have no ranking and reputation?
It's costly, yes. But given their subject matter, perhaps their grads do well enough that it's not that big a deal for them? U.S. News says the median starting salary of their Bachelor degree alumni is $70,800. And they're in the D.C. area, where demand for IT specialists is always acute.
It looks like they're tightly plugged in to the military/intelligence/government/contracting pipeline. E.g. "NSA and DHS designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education" Also... They're a Yellow Ribbon school, so lots of people are paying way less than the sticker price. Active duty military pay only $250/undergraduate credit hour.
