More, albeit slightly, than a student club, I think. More along the lines of a Professional Association. Perhaps a Pre-Professional Association, if there can be such a thing. For grads who aspire to a management consulting career. They have chapters at 11 Universities. https://www.gmcacanada.com/

I could do it, when the McMaster session comes around again. That's my hometown Uni. But I won't be. Simply no interest.

They answered my Email, this course is for students of this Western University only.

 

Since they didn't specify in the event listing, I'm tempted to sign up anyway and see what happens. In all likelihood, they'd be required to refund the money anyway.

If the university is mentioned on the certificate then it's a good addition indeed.
I don't think they are that likely to check if you're a student. Otherwise they would have adapted their payment system to that.
They would have required a code or a password or something. Which isn't the case here.
