Sounds like a good strategy to me. Good luck on your Fiscality and Tax exams in January.

He doesn't deserve the credit! Maybe you all should go back to Johnny Canuck?

Johnny Canuck dates from the 1860s. He was exhumed for World War II service and was buried again, with full honors, before I came to Canada in 1952. I remember him from childhood simply because he was once the answer to a radio quiz I used to listen to. He never gave me a dime. Then again, neither did Louis St. Laurent or John Diefenbaker. I don't think they ever gave my dad much of anything, either. If they did, he never said.

I like Justin a lot more than I liked Stephen Harper - but the job is not a popularity contest, I admit. The thing is, the only person out there who I think would do a better job than Justin is Chrystia Freeland, who is Deputy Prime Minister. Her boss, I think, is thoroughly outclassed by his Deputy. I think Stanislav would agree. :)

Anyway, I'm quite comfortable, telling people about the nice Ibanez guitar "Justin bought me" in 2018, from a tax refund. I put the refund in what I call my "Guitars and Cadillacs" account (named from an early Dwight Yoakam album) and it went right to the music store. The forthcoming Telecaster (Partscaster) is being pieced together from pocket-change.

Justin is so cute and handsome and competent.
Much better than the president the neighbours had for the past 4 years.

"Cute and handsome" is for movie stars. It doesn't make a Prime Minister. Competent? People, including me, have various views on that. But he looks competent, doesn't he? :)
I don't regard being "much better than Donald Trump" as very distinguishing. Most people I know can legitimately claim to be that. But they'd still be awful as Prime Ministers.

Well Justin looks cute. That was an addition to him being a prime minister, not a mix up.
He is a cute prime minister and very handsome. Melania seemed to agree with me, judging from when she and Trump visited Canada and Melania's look at Justin Trudeau said everything :-D

    He looks competent, yes.
    I follow him on LinkedIn.
I love his posts and his speeches that he gives.

Wish we had a head of state like Trudeau here in Belgium. I would be so much more patriotic if that were the case.

He also looks young and is a fresh breath of air. Which is what countries nowadays need to move forward.

I think you should apply directly to Justin Trudeau for a job. Oh --wait. You're on his PR staff already? It figures.... :)

Not the most resounding endorsement, but it could be a fun game:

I like eating broccoli a lot more than I like eating dust bunnies.

I like vacuuming a lot more than I like getting a root canal.

I like going to work a lot more than I like going to gaol.

I like having legs a lot more than I like not having any legs.

I'm sure there's more, but you get the idea.

    Kudos! That's really funny!
My take: Both of them gave me freebies and sent money. But with Harper, it was like a gift from a Mafia Godfather. You knew who it was from. Until the practice was squelched, every freebie, GST rebate etc. I (and everyone else) got said it was "from the Harper Government." Meaning - you owe him and should be grateful. "And if he should ever ask you a favour ..." (Justin's name, of course doesn't appear on the current freebies/refunds.)

There were many things I disliked about Stephen Harper. Best not to get me started.

How seriously are Edex certificates taken?

If my admission for Brown Saint Louis is refused, I want to have a plan B.
My plan B is to take an Edex micromaster certificate in corporate innovation from Uni of Queensland.

I have a few hours spare and want to make best use of them.
Needs to be a programme that starts after January because I have exams in January but from February to June I have lots of time.

Still hope that Brown Saint Louis will accept my admission.
    So nervous for their answer.

Reminds me of a different game from a while back: Trudeau Eulogies.

It's "edX", not "Edex". And how seriously depends on whom and for what.
