This conspiracy theory has been debunked. https://www.factcheck.org/2020/04/hospital-payments-and-the-covid-19-death-count/

Also, I've posted before about excess deaths. this further debunks the theory that covid 19 death counts are over reported.

    quote:
Overall, an estimated 299,028 excess deaths have occurred in the United States from late January through October 3, 2020, with two thirds of these attributed to COVID-19. The largest percentage increases were seen among adults aged 25–44 years and among Hispanic or Latino (Hispanic) persons. Oct 23, 2020

This is part of what pops up just doing a google search of "excess death rate"

    https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS869US869&sxsrf=ALeKk00GxgsfVQ_z6U_4grVMGdanI98OFg:1606860141932&ei=bb3GX6S1OM2JtgWEnr6YCw&q=excess+death+rate&oq=excess+&gs_lcp=CgZwc3ktYWIQARgAMgcIABDJAxBDMgUIABCSAzIECAAQQzIKCAAQsQMQgwEQQzIECAAQQzIFCAAQsQMyBAgAEEMyBQgAELEDMgIIADIFCAAQsQM6BAgAEEc6DQguEMcBEKMCECcQkwI6BAgjECc6CgguEMcBEK8BECc6CAgAEMkDEJECOgUIABCRAjoICAAQsQMQgwE6DQgAELEDEIMBEMkDEEM6DgguELEDEIMBEMcBEKMCOggILhDHARCjAjoSCAAQsQMQgwEQyQMQQxBGEIICOgcIABCxAxBDOgcIABAUEIcCUPaqAVjlvgFguYICaABwAngAgAGpAYgB9gaSAQMwLjeYAQCgAQGqAQdnd3Mtd2l6yAEFwAEB&sclient=psy-ab

So "with two thirds of these attributed to COVID-19" means that Covid 19 deaths are likely undercounted. So take the current numbers and add 50% may be closer to the actual.

I was just about to post it. Wow. When Igor turns on you, it's time for you to leave the village, Dr Frankenstein.

I take it that you don't believe this story that Bill Barr joined the conspiracy. Just to clarify, I'm sure some people do believe it. I just don't believe anyone reading this forum believes it.

Hm. Igor wasn't worried about keeping his law license.

Depends on the states that are reporting the #'s.

Sorry, that makes no sense to me?

The excess deaths is for the whole USA. Excess deaths are the number of deaths greater than what one would expect for that same period based on previous year deaths.

Statements to the press are not evidence. Look at the court filings. The president's team has repeatedly acknowledged in their filings that there was no election fraud. They keep getting thrown out of court because they fail to present a theory and they fail to present any evidence of such.

A lot of Americans believe a lot of stupid stuff. The dumbest people believe the dumbest things. That a bunch of people believe this election was rigged--despite zero evidence that it was--doesn't surprise me one little bit. They believe what they've been told. These are the same people who believe Obama was born in Kenya, that crystals are mystically powerful, that professional wrestling is real, that conspiracy theories without evidence are true, and that (as president) Donald Trump would run the country "like a businessman" and stick up for them. Well, that last one was the biggest myth of all.

The willingness of people to self-deceive is amazing. See The Faith Healers or Flim-Flam, both by the late James Randi. Again, I'm not surprised that those people believe that nonsense. I'm also not surprised to see that the facts never change their minds. Facts are like kryptonite to these people.

We've both mentioned that what is going on here with the election fraud stuff is that Trump is getting donations big time for fighting against the "election fraud". Only a small percent of this money is actually going for that. Most is just lining Trump's pocket. This is basically what it says right on the donation sites if one reads the small print.

The Justice Department is reiterating it has not concluded its investigation of possible election fraud and is vowing to pursue all specific and credible allegations of ballot fraud stemming from the presidential contest.
A statement from a DOJ spokesperson.

Lawsuit by Trump allies challenging Pennsylvania election results reaches the US Supreme Court
The group seeks an emergency injunction from the nation's highest court to block the completion of any remaining steps in the state's certification of Pennsylvania's 2020 election results, which took place last week. The petition was submitted to Associate Justice Samuel Alito.

More than $150 million so far. This is the largest (known) grift he's operated since becoming president. And, as with all of his corruption, right out in the open.

Well, they certainly FILED there but I have a hard time seeing where the U.S. Supreme Court would want to involve itself in what is largely a matter of State law especially since there is no clear error in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decision. Once again, what the Trumpistas are asking various courts to do is to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of voters. That's...novel...in American democracy.

I always thought that "Trampistas" are asking to count the legal votes and remove the illegal votes.
Some legal professionals think that there is ground for challenging the PA outcome based on what they see as unconstitutional rules change in 2019.
They claim such rules were changed and attempted to be changes since Dem's in 2018 took the majority of the House and a push by Nancy Pelosi to make voting rules changed in favor of Dem's.
    Again its a long shoot.

Lerner, you DO understand that there is no way to trace a given ballot once cast to a particular voter? It's a secret ballot? So once for all time, do you see that the ONLY way for Trump to reverse the results of the 2020 election is to disenfranchise hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of legal voters who cast their ballots according to the rules that were in place at the time? Do you see that there IS NO OTHER WAY for Trump to win?

Once again Trump says something different to the media than what they are really doing or asking for. They say all they want is to count the legal and not the illegal votes when they talk to the media. The actions they file in court are requesting what nosborne is stating.

Of which there are none. Or, at least, not a material number.
Whose constitution? The US? No, because it leaves these things to the state. Pennsylvania's? No, because the federal court isn't going to get involved unless the state constitution violates the US Constitution, which it does not.

Most likely PA, in this case.
Again not sure how it works, can SCOTUS look at this appeal?
Was it Dershowitz who thought it has merit?

Again, Lerner, please answer my question. Do you understand that the ONLY way for Trump to win is if the Courts disenfranchise hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of legitimate voters who cast their ballots according to the rules that were in place at the time of the election?

All the legal votes should be counted. So yes all legitimate votes should be counted every single vote.
All illegal votes shouldn't be counted.

This is what President Trump said about this elections:

In short, either you don't understand what Trump is demanding or you don't WANT to understand.
