They sure do, Mac. A whole department. "Dudeist Studies – The study of Dudeism as a both a historical religion under different names, and an emerging world philosophy" https://aui.me/departments I LIKE this! It's like the first time I saw fractals on the computer. Back then I thought "where was all this stuff in the 60s, when we needed it?" I like their "class backwards" approach as they call it. First they award the degree, then the onus is on you to contribute to their knowledge base. I'm in!
Make 'em proud Greg! Congrats on your honorary, free Abide degree and your classy, more traditional Master's, that you worked hard for! Perhaps you can help Abide by contributing to a Dudeist System of Ethics - one that works better than the old "Do unto others, then split!"
Some of Abide U's links are really useful. Like this one on free Ivy League school courses. https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/ivy-league-free-online-courses-a0d7ae675869/ I actually have some of these courses that the Universities made available for download - mostly Yale and Harvard - and those are everything Abide or CodeBootCamp or whoever says they are- plus! It was just like being in that classroom with real-life undergrads and ultra-expensive-tuition - except that I could wear pyjamas if I wanted - and drink coffee. I'm really starting to like "Abide." Go, Lebowskis!
I can see it now; someone notes that it was Kant's view that one should never lie because it is a categorical imperative. I respond: That was just his opinion, man. People often believe things, then new shit comes to light and they change.
Uh-huh. Yeah, it does...and they do. That's the BEST anyone ever said it! SO mellow, Dude! ... You gotta tell the Maharishi!... when we're not quite so freakin' high.
