ELLE (yes, the fashion magazine) offers online courses

    Hello!

I remember when I had to wait at the local barber shop and when the only reading material was the fashion magazine ELLE. Somehow, I survived the boredom, but more than 30 years later, something more interesting caught my eye: https://elle.education/

Apparently, they offer their own certificates and university certificates from the Complutense University of Madrid. Well, I guess the Titulo Propio are in the education world to stay... even in areas where I did certainly not expect them to do.

    Best regards,
    Mac Juli

I think these programs create opportunities and are a terrific idea - and I can hardly wait for a post-COVID-19 world where retail of all types can get back to a semblance, at least, of normality, so grads of the Digital / Retail diploma - or the other programs - can use their new skills.

I agree that the Titulo Propio is here to stay (it never wasn't), but I don't think this is a Titulo (degree) program of any kind. Nobody says it is. They call it a 6-month Diploma program and I think that's probably 100% accurate - diploma, not degree - or it'd have "master," "maestria" or "Maserati" all over it. :) I'm happier with what they call it, actually. If someone over here takes the course - it's a diploma, not a propio degree and nobody has to wonder what it's worth academically. If they want to get hired - they'll get a chance at interview to tell what they've learned, to people in the business. Best that way, I think. Saves evaluation, unnecessary expense, red tape etc. :)

Don't worry. Mac. Say things however you like. I'll ALWAYS be right there to correct you, if necessary. :) :) (Just kidding.)

An MBA in fashion management would be a dream. Although I can't afford one at the moment. So this ELLE education sounds interesting.
I would love to work as a wedding planner as a side job once covid 19 has calmed down a bit. Thanks for sharing, Mac :)
