I was serious. Mac is writing his thesis for his ENEB / Universidad Isabel 1 MBA (Master Propio) - he's one of our Grouponistas.

    Hello!

Almost correct, Johann! :) I am indeed enrolled in the ENEB MBA, but I do - at the same time - an online MBA at Donau Universität Krems. The thesis is for the latter!!

    Best regards,

My apologies, Mac. Sometimes, I like to think I know everything. Then I fall down... :)

I know it got the most votes, but the "proximity to the CEO's office" topic seems outdated. I mean, right now at my company we have something like 93% of our workforce working remotely. And our company has a presence in something like 32 countries. If you are in IT, you would probably not ever be working at company headquarters in Memphis, TN so the possibility of being anywhere close to the CEO's office wouldn't be very high. I do think you were on to something with the negotiation model topic or the course development topic. Could possibly expand to traditional model vs. competency based models for business education at the high school level or comparing negotiation models and use the electronics industry as an application case study.

    Good luck!

What's an EXCEL school by the way? Is that a particular model of education or is that literally a school that teaches Microsoft Excel?

A school that teaches MS Excel. In short, I am a business man and see regularly that intelligent people underperform because they lack appropriate EXCEL skills. My idea was a crash course in business, each lesson explained with EXCEL, and then more sophisticated "EXCEL life hacks" - like comparing two lists, correct usage of VLOOKUP etc.! ...

And a nice diploma with college credits at the end if you pass a work-related assignment.

    Thanks!!

I am mostly doing my business with SME, so, of course, YMMV!!
