Yeah, the New Gilded Age is upon us. Can't think of anything that could go wrong; nothing at all.

    1. That's exactly what Trumpworld calls "unfair". Reality has a well-known liberal bias.
2-5. It's a popular game: putting all the blame on "liberals", because the opposite camp has no agency; poor forgotten people can't help themselves. It extends to blaming "Democrats" for contents of my posts, even though I don't belong to a party an actually am not eligible to vote here (Inshallah, yet). Screw this.
    6. It's too much work trying to guess what people on the Internet consider "good" argument, especially if it's not for anything they already believe. So, you know, pass. And I didn't say "Abrams actually won". All I'm saying the ref (GA SoS) made sure it's easier for her opponent to win. Tell me it's an unfounded statement (her opponent's name is Brian Kemp; GA SoS's name at the time was - Brian Kemp).
    7. Yes, I'm aware. It's OK for you to be wrong on this one.

No, that's just a self-congratulatory thing that those on the left say to themselves so they can pretend their opinions are facts.

Not that those on other corners of the ideological map (including mine) are immune to making similar errors, but man, you guys take smugness to a whole other level.

AP has called Pennsylvania for Biden, which means by extension that they're calling the election for Biden.

There's still some uncertainty, but it looks like he has it in the bag.

Well, the various news decision desks called Pennsylvania for Biden and that's that. It will be interesting to see if the reptilian Ted Cruz and the slavish Lindsey Graham will continue to push treason.

Now that Biden has been declared the winner by several sources, and now that this thread alone has grown to 36 pages thus far, I will make a rare exception to my usual rule and express an actual political opinion, specifically addressed to Lerner, Hierophant, and the still-missing (and still missed) me again:

    We whupped yo' ass!
    Whupped it!!! Whupped it good!

Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your weekend. :D

I think you are most likely there,
But Monday comes President Trump will fight via courts as he believes the elections were stolen.
I don't know what evidence they have and on what basis but time will show.

Keep checking the carton of sour milk in the fridge. Yes maybe Monday it will turn sweet.

I just posted what they are saying.
They are planing to file lawsuits and take it to the court.
As I said earlier Biden most likely is the 46th President but these things will play out in the next days.
If there is no evidence then there will be no lawsuit, if there is evidence then things will be sorted by the court.
President Trump is not in a hurry to concede, he will fight.

    Some issues reported:

Can't really say Biden was the one who "rushed to pose as the winner. "

Confusing 2000 with 2020 is ridiculous! In 2000 there was only one state in question and that one state was way closer than anything in 2020, only 537 votes. Trumps assertions of lawsuits changing the 2020 election is just another example of one of his more absurd lies.

Monday is an excellent time to schedule the next check on that carton of soar milk. It might turn sweet by then!

Anyone can file a lawsuit about anything. It is not evidence that anything untoward occurred.

No one has ever "stolen" a presidential election.

Or, more likely, it won't. The effort to steal (or fake) literally millions of votes would be unprecedented. It is hard to believe it occurred without any evidence of it.

Since "liberal bias" is a Fox News-invented shibboleth denoting anything the Right finds inconvenient, quite literally the reality is often labeled as a "liberal bias".
Do you have any evidence that the media was biased against Trump? Being critical and being biased is not the same thing; do you have any evidence any negative Trump coverage was not warranted?

Media Bias/Fact Check lists plenty of sources that have liberal bias. Are they "the Right"? Because conservatives surely don't think so, e.g.:

    https://www.conservapedia.com/Media_Bias_Fact_Check
    https://climatechangedispatch.com/media-bias-fact-check-site-served-cease-and-desist/

There's nothing wrong with the media reporting on Trump's mendacity, incompetence, and divisiveness. It doesn't require liberal bias to do so, heck, Reason does it all the time. But to say that means that liberal bias doesn't exist... come on, you have to know you're staking out a position that no one could defend.

I hope no one stakes out that position. At least, not seriously. But its existence--while inarguable--doesn't mean it preponderates. It could just as easily be a distinction without a difference.

The biggest problem I have with this "bias" argument is when it is used as an attempt to negate facts, not opinions. We've heard a lot of that over the past 4 years.

My understanding is that FEC has to certify the elections, is Biden certified by all the states?
All I'm saying is that President Trump will challenge the elections results in the court.
We will have competent authorities examine the allegations, and make decision.

No body is confusing 2000 with 2020, but if one state had an issue, in 2020 Trump campaign is saying multiple states had issues and multiple lawsuits will be filed.
They have no issue to file 20 lawsuits if needed and if they have sufficient base and evidence to their allegations.

I like the speeches of Haris/Biden. I liked the call for unity and if they legitimately wan the elections then its a big achievement wordy of praise.

They refuse to accept that Fox News is just as biased to the right as CNN, NBC and MSNBC is to left. While CBS and ABC are more central than either (but still slightly left leaning). I again hasten to add that both Fox and CNN printed articles are both better than their live TV branches.
