Hello! I was not aware that Sotheby's do not only sell art, but give also UK-accredited courses which are a little expensive by European standards, but probably interesting for someone here: https://www.sothebysinstitute.com/online Best regards, Mac Juli
..uh, dunno. The accredited courses seem to be for professional development, but being a lowbrow, I can't tell for sure...
I'd guess that if YOU end up knowing any significant part of what SOTHEBY's knows, you should be able to figure a way of making considerable money from that knowledge! Of course, I'm not discounting the possibility of art lovers earning one of the master's degrees just because it's their passion. I think Sotheby's have figured out the sales strategy for these offerings as well as they do for everything else they sell. I see the Sotheby's brand is on the real estate business. A nice old house up the street from me was just sold. The sign was from Sotheby's International Realty. They probably have (wisely) developed it as a franchise. Good luck to them. Nice sign - of course.
They should watch carefully, though. I wouldn't want to see the Sotheby's name splattered on every internet ad and billboard, until it becomes another Burberry or Louis Vuitton - unrecognizably remote from its original status.
Have you not seen their real estate division? They splatter that name in every ad, magazine, and billboard imaginable!
