International business management MBA from Ludwigshafen university 2. Online mba international business from Robert kennedy college zurich 3. Part time Mba at New European college Munich. please help me understand if Robert Kennedy College and the New European College are recognised institutes for pursuing my online MBA and if it’s worth doing it. Otherwise I will have to go with Ludwigshafen university.

I am on vacation. A detailed answer may follow later, but Uni Ludwigshafen is ok. Go for it.

 

RKC program gives you a valid UK degree - from the partner school, Univ. of Cumbria. Is that useful to you in Germany?
Still working on New European College - it's in Munich, but says it has Dutch and FIBAA (German) accreditation.
I'm trying to verify -will get back soon. And yes -with Ludwigshafen you get a bona fide German degree - 100%.

 

Apples and oranges, Bryan. This poster wants an MBA that is 100% valid in Germany. We're not sure what ENEB degrees come out to - a few say Master's, somebody showed a Bachelor's and some say Grad Certs. Who knows what it comes out to in Germany? They're rather strict. This poster is putting serious money on the table - it isn't a $200 crapshoot.

You know a LOT about some things...but in this case, I think you're gravely misreading the situation. ENEB is not a panacea. The cost is not comparable.

 

Found it: see below. You get your New European College degree from Wittenborg University - which is State recognized in Netherlands and Germany. FIBAA is good - programmatic accreditation froman independent body - but the State recognition is vital.


New European College is proud to have Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences (WUAS) as their degree awarding partner for all bachelor and master programs on offer. Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences’ programs are fully accredited, and state recognized in Germany and the Netherlands, as well as Europe and further abroad.


I rank these as follows:

(1) Ludwigshafen - no issues at all
(2) New European College - the partner school, WUAS (which awards your degree) has no issues that I can find.
(3) Robert Kennedy College. - You earn a valid UK degree from Univ. of Cumbria. RKC is a Cantonal school, not a Swiss Federation University. No distance school in Switzerland can attain that status. By law it requires 100 full time highly qualified professors, buildings, extensive library holdings, und so weiter... Consequently, the degrees of Cantonal schools, while legal do not have mainstream standing and are not suitable for Germany. To solve this, RKC partnered up with several British Universities to teach their programs - and the British Uni. (in this case U. of Cumbria - awards the degree. These validation programs are not uncommon with UK schools. As I said, if a UK degree is useful to you in Germany, nothing wrong with this one.

 

BTW - I wasn't able to verify Wittenborg's statement of State recognition in Germany. They DO show their Dutch recognition number on the webpage here:

If they mean their FIBAA accreditation makes them State-Recognized in Germany -- I'm not sure. I'm assuming that either way, their official Dutch recognition would make their degrees valid in Germany. FIBAA may be simply icing on the cake. Nicht wahr?

The REAL Germans here can tell you if that's correct. (I'm a fake - "Falschdeutsch?" English/Canadian).

 

Further to my remarks on Wittenborg:

"University of Applied Sciences" is a protected term in the Netherlands. It is a Vocational University. Such a school (Hogeschool in Dutch) may not call itself simply a University. Hence, the protected term, as properly used by WUAS. I have checked a bit further and see no reason to doubt WUAS's statement of State recognition in Germany. FIBAA says its mandate is to approve ONLY programs of schools with state recognition. Personally, I still think Ludwigshafen is the number 1 choice.

 

Note: I'm taking WUAS's statement basically on "Faith and FIBAA." I still can't find it on a Hochschulkompass site search - but that may be for any number of reasons.

Since I'm from Munich Germany of course I know the New European College from what I've heard it's some kind of recent spin-off from former employees of EU Business School after an argument.
Nowadays even EU Business School has found state-recognised awarding partners after decades of being unaccredited
