I am looking for an online program that accepts a generous amount of transfer credits for Nutrition or Dietetics. I would look to get into the field of becoming a registered dietitian. Does anyone know of any schools?

    Hello!

Do you consider schools from UK? If yes, let me know.

    Best regards,

I would prefer schools in the United States as I was looking to become a registered dietitian in the United States and from what I understand they want an accredited school. I have a few prior degrees and was looking to save some time by transferring credits.

OK. Then I am sure that you are going to find better advisors than me on this board. Anyway, best wishes for your plans!!

I haven't seen one. But I'd add that a lot of states are requiring a Masters for licensure these days. Check the requirements for your state and go from there.

Because you might just get to the same goal by getting ANY bachelors and then enrolling in a solid grad program.

In NY dietician and nutritionist are also tied together so that you can take either exam or have a degree in either field but the result is the same license (kind of like MD/DO). So look for all of those quirks and once you get the requirements go searching for those to be met.

You can have a school with bulletproof accreditation but if it isn't accepted for licensure in your state it's meaningless.
