DegreeInfo's members are experts in distance learning education; therefore, I put Fort Collins University...as the Colorado State University flagship program.

So, I switched my Liberty University's Doctor of Business Administration admission to Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration. In order to eligible for $300.00 credit per hour, I have to enroll into the 21 credit Executive Certificate program first; and they are 100% transferable to the 48 credits Ph.D. program.

Haha! Experts? Hardly! But, welcome to Liberty University! When will you start? Are you still going to pursue Imperial?

I was told that it does allow for the Ph.D program to0. I am not interested in the DPA because I don't want to explain to people what id DPA since Ph.D is well known.

Yes, I am doing both. Imperial College London's Global MBA and Liberty Ph.D in Public Administration. Since the program is only 48 credits and about $15,000.00 for the Military and First Responders discount is not bad. I might end up as a Federal Government contractor again because I plan to move back to Northern Virginia in the next 2 years. I am purchasing 22.75 acres of land in Luray, Virginia for my future mountain cabin.

This is one of my rare visits to Degreeinfo.com.
The CSU Doctor of Engineering in Systems Management would have been a perfect compliment to my career (but now retired and having lots of fun)

I hope we can allow for some very obvious exceptions.

There are many. Steve Levicoff researched degree mills and wrote a book about them. John Bear has sold nearly half-a-million books on the subject. I did a PhD on this subject. But those are just three; there are plenty more.

Who's Steve L? lol.. Anyway, I didn't say there were no experts on here. Again, generalization ame into play. TEKMAN said DI members are experts, which implied that this applies to every member. I disagree because we have a lot of new members who are sometimes clueless about distance learning and come here for help. Anyway, I won't get into a pissing contest with you because that seems to be your M.O these days :D

Dude you ain't lying! I never know what to do. I have explained the difference and people have said "sooooo, pretty much like I said... a PhD."

The business field has several different doctorates as well: PhD, DBA, DM..I’m sure there are a few I’m not aware of too.

I am starting this fall, but I am not in rush. As long as I can get $300.00 per credit for the entire program. Just one class per term.

Not to be petty about it, two of my five books were about degree mills. And, since one of his doctorates is in non-traditional education, how many of Rich's books are about mills? Oooooops, I forgot - Rich has never written a book.
Quite right. Despite having two legit doctorates, Rich has never learned how to act like a doctor. The guy's ego is more fragile than a Fabergé egg. It's a shame that Chris uses Rich as a role model, since Chris is developing the same bad habits as Rich.
Typical Rich - whining the way he does when he says that I'm obsessed with him. When Rich can't go after someone in a substantive way, he resorts to pure personal insult. Rich, ol' sport, you should know better than to attack Chris like that - despite his weaknesses, he is a Ph.D. candidate at an RA university making solid progress toward his doctorate, so I'd suggest you start treating him as a professional colleague now. On the other hand, you don't even treat me as a professional colleague, so giving you this message is like pissing in the wind.

By the way, Rich, I wasn't aware that you are a sexist and a homophobe. Or do you think that "whine like a little girl," especially addressing it to a guy, is an appropriate insult in this day and age? You and Chris are, in many ways, two of a kind - except that, unlike you, he is not a buffoon.

I honestly know very little about the doctoral process, credits, etc. I’m sure credits differ slightly from field to field. In the end, if you earn a credible doctorate in a credible field, I commend you for the time and dedication put in. 48 credits, 60 credits...in the end, you get to put PhD, DSc, DBA, PsyD, etc. after your name.

Is that so? Well, Steve replied to your post before you edited it. I'm sure it must have occurred to you how low you went to attack my intellectual capability. Whether I am intellectually bankrupt or have a pea-sized brain, it hasn't stopped me from earning 4 degrees (one with a 4.0 GPA). Since the remaining portion of my Ph.D. is pass/fail, I will earn another degree with a 4.0. These "deficiencies" also haven't prevented me from serving as a teacher at a highly-rated college preparatory high school and an adjunct professor at a top-ranked college. If I were to call you a senile old man who is suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's, people would say I am rude. However, my Bible tells me that "a soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger" (Proverbs 15:1, KJV).

Even though you have leveled some insults at me, perhaps justified, I agree with your assessment of Dr. Dr. Rich!

I went bike riding with my son today and came to a pedestrian crosswalk with a pedestrian push activated light to the High School. Although the light was red, a Lady in her vehicle motioned us to go forward, so we commenced. Immediately another vehicle sped past and almost hit us. My son and I backed up on the sidewalk to avoid getting hit. The Lady made a motion for us to proceed again and I made a motion to let her proceed. My son didn't see me make that hand motion and began to move as she moved and almost got hit by the nice Lady in her car.

Some of us see part of the truth but not all, some see some of the facts but not all, some see part of the picture but not all. I like to hope we are all trying to be courteous when expounding our views but we have to come to the realization that we don't see ALL the facts, picture or truth, hence a forum to discuss with civility. Overall, DI has provided a lot of good information to higher education seekers but we need to rise above the petty bickering and make it a dialogue friendly environment. G-d Bless all of you!

I just realized I was stooping to your level, Chris, and thought it was a mistake. I still do.
