    Free until July 31.

I'm not sure yet whether the certificates state that they are issued from Rasmussen or from eRasmussen. At a quick glance, these seem to have much more meat to them than other free certificates I've posted about recently, but that also remains to be seen.

EDIT: The page states that the average completion time for the certificates is 6-8 hours. They are still short courses, like many other freebies, but given that many programs overstate the amount of content they contain, it's refreshing to see a measure of the pace that students are actually performing

But not everyone can enroll into their free courses. People in California, Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island are not allowed to enroll.
Also, they don't accept international students from outside of US.

    • Who can enroll?
eRasmussen Professional Certificate courses are available to individuals seeking professional development in the United States except California, Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island.

Or maybe not. These are weird times. Last I heard, a school now has to get individual permission from each state in which they plan to offer distance courses. I think it even might be permission for each and every course - not one OK for a whole list. That's as many as 50 separate permission slips - or maybe 51, I don't know about DC. Maybe these four states never got the message or some bureaucratic snafu / fubar happened. I can't believe it's because these States don't like Rasmussen. That's impossible.

These programs are no joke (at least the Digital Marketing one). Each course has a project (PPT or paper involved). I don't have that time to dedicate to it rn.

There is an option for colleges that wish to offer distance education services in other States without obtaining individual State approval. National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)

They've extended the deadline to August 31.

I emailed them and asked if the certificates said Rasmussen or E-Rasmussen or both. They only told me that you get a digital badge.

So.... yeah. I still don't know if you get a downloadable certificate or what either the certificate or the badge will say.

The certifications are now free! Also, based on the terms of service, the certificates work for everybody in the US except California.
