To become a licensed Mental Health Counselor/Psychologist, etc., you need in-person hours. Some of my friends who are still counseling are doing so by video apps.

I have seen at least one school (in India) offering virtual internships for training hours. I'm just curious if there are any other virtual internships for psychology/mental health fields?

Many of the state licensing boards are very stringent on how they determine the hours and other requirements, would anticipate that answer to very widely between which state you're attempting to become licensed in. It's such a convoluted process that even licensed professionals often struggle with relocating from state to state and there are numerous (well advertised) online degree programs that do not count towards state licensure, can't imagine there is a universal answer to your question. I'm sure there... might be... maybe... but would it even be relevant or beneficial is the root of the matter.

That's a good point. However, I'm not really looking for anything state specific. I'm just trying to get an understanding of what's being done to address it during our current situation, and to get a gauge on how prevalent virtual internships are in this field.
