In light of social distancing requirements, it's acceptable to just submit to a moderator screen shots of Dance Dance Revolution high scores.

Some schools are marketing their online programs more aggressively now. There are more ads on social media, some from schools that never advertise. I’m sure they are trying to scoop up as many of the students that have been cut loose from their schools. Take your courses at a school that’s got a prepared online curriculum, a good platform, trained staff, etc. and then transfer the credits back when the time comes.

I have noticed an increase in ads in Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social platforms as well. What I find interesting is that I am seeing, what seems like, fewer Walden and other for profit ads. I would have thought they would have utilized this pandemic to drop more money into marketing to see if they could pull some of these students in.

The ad from the University of Georgia is the one that caught my eye. Someone at these schools is a business opportunist. I’d say it’s a smart move.

Harvard did not appreciate when I made the public comment on their ad for their Disruptive Strategy course... that they should unenroll the coronavirus. Sigh... I thought it was distasteful to launch the course so soon after Clayton Christensen's passing.

Wait, maybe it would help if I saw the ad, but what's wrong with Harvard offering such a course? I'd think Christensen would have loved it.

I'll screen shot it the next time I come across it.

There's a website you can use to visit the campus of your choice (at least there's 15,000 listed) so you optimists can still decide where to attend in the Fall. Or maybe the Spring or maybe you'd just like to cruise around Harvard Yard
