I love it when this happens.

Par - There's been a lot of back and forth in this thread and so I want to be sure I understand what you're asking. What degree did you earn from what school in what year?

I'm not sure what you mean by "verify my degree." If you've actually read through this entire thread you'll find that there's a strong suggestion that your degree, like the school, is fake. The fact that you don't have any contact information, that you found DegreeInfo but you can't actually locate the school, that fact alone should give you a clue to the reality that you've been hoodwinked (that's my word for the day, I think). I'm sorry to be the one to break the news to you but it seems that CSM-IGS is not really a real thing.

The founder, George Korey, has been dead since 2007. I'm pretty sure his various "schools" all predeceased him by a few years. Anybody of normal / better intelligence who has read this thread will realize that the school(s) are a dead issue. IIRC, CSM, the one under discussion, is one of the few schools that was ever accredited and subsequently de-accredited TWICE by DETC.

I think "verify my degree" is a code word for "vouch for my degree - say it's OK." Nobody's going to do that. That would be crazy.

CSM didn't award degrees. It awarded certificates while an affiliated organization, Northland Open University, awarded degrees. Ostensibly, NOU did so under territorial authority, but it seemed ot operate from Ontario at CSM. The degrees were definitely not recognized by Canadian authorities.

CSM was affiliated, co-owned, or something with a school in Colorado, as well as one in the UK. All three were accredited by DETC, and then all three withdrew on the same day. They're gone now.

The University of Wales validation scheme that TASMAC describes imploded some years ago. U of Wales was awarding its degrees to grads of well over 100 overseas programs - e.g. Fazley College, in Malaysia, run by a popular singer, Fazley Yakoob. Another school was run by a Cambodian supermodel. IIRC, yet another of the overseas schools where grads were awarded U. of Wales degrees was an otherwise unaccredited bible school in the US which had failed to obtain RA and later had a failed attempt at National accreditation. There appeared to be a huge lack of oversight by U. of Wales in some of these programs and the U. of Wales consortium broke up over it; the validations were discontinued.

The TASMAC site appears to be very old. It obviously pre-dates the U. of Wales debacle and points to events anticipated in 2010! I consider the site to be leftover cybertrash that someone forgot to put out for the truck. I doubt if this place is even operating. After all these years, the programs are still "to be announced." Don't hold your breath - or send your rupees.

There really isn't even any "University of Wales" anymore, at least not in the same sense that it existed 10 years ago. All the schools in the UWales system broke up into their constituent pieces and now operate independently of each other.
