At the risk of seeming to be close minded, that's not going to happen. As I said before, I think you've made a bad choice. It's only my opinion and mine counts for no more than anyone else's. You don't need to convince me or anyone else. I can live with the difference of opinion but you seem to be having trouble with it. The collective knowledge and experience of this board indicates you're making a mistake. But you're convinced that you're right. Because you like the name. I hope it works out for you. Best of luck.

About half the faculty hold doctorates, many in fields not offered by the school. Nice name though...I guess.

I'm not sure, it can be an initial granting of accreditation to the school for the first time and when they during defined time period successfully maintain the standards and renew its no longer conditional? Or conditional accreditation status indicates a need for improvement in order to be fully compliant with the standards. Some agencies must place a program on conditional accreditation status before it can withdraw accreditation or grant unconditional one.
    I speculate.

I couldn't find a description for "conditional accreditation" on the accreditor's website, which I thought was odd.

I'm not so sure about that. You have been signed up here since April 2014, precisely the same month and the same year that 'Surprises' first appeared. Both of you immediately set to work trying to promote Charisma across this and other DL discussion boards.

Back then, you were saying that you were enrolling in Charisma for your undergraduate degree. Assuming for the sake of argument that was really true, is the reason why you are considering Charisma for an MBA now because you couldn't find a conventional MBA program that would recognize a Charisma bachelors degree?

I liked Victorville International University/American Centered University better.

Worldtraveler may be just a guy with a family, out to do the best he can in life - as he says. But I think he is also someone who

    (1) is well known to the high and mighty of Charisma U.
    (2) has been awarded a PhD. in Business Administration by Charisma U.
    (3) has been an owner of schools in the past - in U.S. and at least one abroad.
    (4) has been an official at other schools - including Dean of Business at a Latin American University

Of course, I could be wrong...

I think World Traveler is quite successful at what he or she is trying to do - manipulate the dialogue on Charisma in this thread while acting diplomatically instead of in a threatening manner. Is World Traveler a dumb-ass? Of course, but one who knows quite well how to push other people's buttons.

The rest of the participants in this dialogue, on the other hand, need to get a life. :D
