Hello! i really need a lot of help from you guys. i really need a college degree by the end of this year and i dont mind if it's only nationally accredited or if it's not from an institution with a good reputiation.

i was thinking about Penn Foster but i have to wait for the books to be delivered and that takes a long time. Does anyone know a faster route? Testing out of a nationally accredited college?

Since it's already November and you need that degree by the end of the year, I wouldn't rely on the delivery system of a nationally accredited college. All you really need is a printer and a free degree certificate generator. Pick the college of choice and add your name to the graduation list!

You better keep thinking. There is no legitimate degree program, not even from a school with a bad reputation, where you're going to be able to finish an entire undergrad degree from scratch by the end of the year, and nationally accredited degree programs aren't any easier or faster than regionally accredited degree programs, but I'm sure you've read some nonsense somewhere online telling you the opposite. Just understand, most of the stuff you read like that online are from people who have no idea what they're talking about and are usually just speaking from personal biases and misperceptions, but have no actual experience with it themselves.

There is a good option for testing out: CLEP and the Big 3 is one regionally accredited option, look it up. You might be able to knock some other courses off with Study.com or Straighterline. Ashworth College and their life/work exams would've been a good nationally accredited option but they've limited it to 3 exams total across the Associate and Bachelors degree programs meaning if you do three for the Associate degree you're out of exam challenges even if you finish and start a Bachelors degree in the future. They once allowed 10 challenges as recently as the beginning of this year, but with 3 now the limit in effect you won't get too far. You also have the other issue of most colleges requiring that a minimum number of credits be earned through them, usually 15 for an Associate degree and 30 for a Bachelors degree, then consider how so many schools work on weekly schedules and add that on to the amount of time it will take.

If you're looking for "fast" and don't care how you get it, you're probably not going to make it any way you go about it.

Dear Mr. Cadabra - I think what everyone is trying to say (in good ol' DI style) is that your goal is unrealistic. I'm really not sure how you came to the conclusion that earning a Bachelors degree in in 10 months was possible but I'd like to assure you that it is not. Sorry to disappoint

On the other hand, if you're willing to go a fast, here's the most reliable method

The end of this year is in 58 days, so unfortunately I believe this need will remain unmet.

To earn a bachelor's degree in 10 months? I remember someone years ago was advocating RA BA degree in 4 months, but it was then by taking CLEP's, GRE, etc. This is no longer possible.

I think it's possible to complete a degree in 10 months if there is sufficient academic credit, like a friend of mine who was able to transfer prior credit to Excelisoiur College and needed to complete two projects, capstone and 12 credit hours in classes. I recall his English composition class didn't get accepted he had to retake this one. And he also took a class at Davar Academy. From start to end it took about 10 months. For him, Excelsior College was a finishing school.

And you believed what you read?

Of course you're a troll. (And a whiner, but that's for another time.) You are presumptuous enough to think you can pull off a four-year degree in a month and don't give a crap about the reputation of the school from which you get it.

So admit it - you're a troll. Then stand up and be a proud troll, not just a mediocre troll. Go out and have a t-shirt made that says, "Proud Troll!" Come out of your troll closet, do a little troll dance, sing a troll song, and tell the world what we already know here at DI - that you're a troll.

Now, can you actually get a degree in a month? Yes - after putting a lot of advance prep into it. After studying your ass off to take a bunch of exams, actually taking the exams, storing up the credits, and then applying for the degree. If you think you can pull it off without all the advance study (at least a year's worth), then not only are you a troll, you are then a troll living in fantasyland.

But that's okay, you whiny troll, we still accept you. And we're glad you're here. You make for good entertainment.

i don't care if it's only nationally accredited because i can still get accepted into a RA master-Capella University accepts it. i don;t care about the reputation of the school because i will never use this degree. i only want a degree to use it so i can get into nursing school. There are 1 year programs where you get a batchlor degree in nursing if nursing is your second degree.it's called ABSN. i want to become a nurse in 1 year. all i need is a degree-and there are schools that accept NA degree as a first degree. i want to partcipate in the february admission into nursing school. And the next few months while i wait for the admission to nursng school i will get a RA master from Capella.

No legitimate institution is going to grant you a degree simply because you need it as a prerequisite for the more important "second degree" program, which starts in February. Say goodbye to that dream!

Even if you wanted to flush the first degree down the toilet (It would be so useless), you would still need to earn it under the normal degree graduation requirements. There is no two-month shortcut for any degree from an accredited institution.

I never do this, and I make mistakes with punctuation and such all the time because this is a forum and not an academic paper, but there are still some things that are hard to overlook. The amount of times you've posted a lowercase 'i' when it clearly should be uppercase is alarming to the point it appears you don't realize that's a problem.

Anyway, I think everyone has told you what you need to know. You're not going to get an undergrad degree from any legitimate school that quickly. You may have heard stories of fast finishes from Western Governors graduates, but those results are atypical when comparing it to their large student body, and those few fast finishes are 99% in the Masters programs simply because there are fewer courses in the Masters programs, combined with the average student in those programs having experience in their field, not to mention the fact that the WGU system allows you to work before your actual start date.

Lastly, no, nationally accredited degrees are not easier to get nor are they able to be gotten in a shorter time frame, so remove that thought from your mind. If you want a college degree from any place, prepare to work and take the time. If you're not willing to do that, you'll never finish anywhere.

The fastest way to earn a degree, assuming that you're starting from scratch, is to go through one of the Big 3, CLEPing your brains out and scrambling for every credit you can find from every available source. It's all here

    https://www.degreeinfo.com/index.php?forums/clep-dantes-and-other-exams-for-credit.15/

If you read anything further in this thread then you're just wasting time, something you have little to spare. It's as close to a magic wand as you're going to get. Anyone who tells you that you can get a degree in one month is either lying or has bought a degree mill diploma (which won't get you into that grad school.) Oh yeah, you should also fix your keyboard. You're gonna need it.

Unfortunately, those people weren't telling the truth. It used to be theoretically possible to do this when the Big Three allowed degrees to be earned 100% by testing, but now I believe all of them have a few requirements for actual classes for which there are no quick alternatives.

(And even back when it was mathematically possible, it was extremely rare. "BAin4Weeks" was more of a theoretical concept than a realistic schedule, IMO.)

Well... how can someone consider your question in a serious way, when you ask for the impossible?
All the members were very kind and polite enough in their answers ...don't take advantage of it... there's no legal way to achieve that.

Anyway, since a lot of people think like you " I want it, I want it now", there are only 2 realistic options.

    1. Self paced degrees mainly from non-accredited colleges
    2. Ask directly

1.) For example, https://www.newlaneuniversity.com/ offers some self paced programs in fair prices. Self pace prog + 1 month means that YOU HAVE to invest a lot of timein order to complete your studies. Im not sure they will allow you to finish a BA in 1 month so.ask them or any similar online college.

2.) Ask any of the colleges (especially the non-accredited & from so called 3rd world countries) directly about your concern/need. No comments or advises can be offered here.

Keep in mind that.. the educational value of an 1-month degree... will be similar to a toilet paper or even less.
