Ever wondered why the canadian dollar is never on par with the USA? Currency manipulation ; the Cdn government wants to encourage exports and discourage imports. The bank of Canada is in the currency market everyday buying and selling the canadian dollar . It is not about making a profit but artificially keeping the currency devalued. My own conspiracy theory which can be verified. It makes it very expensive for Canadians to buy education outside of Canada.

Expect the British pound to go lower and stay there for a while. If you are looking for a world class education on a budget then this may be the time to explore the uk.

I think this a good program, thought not AACSB or ACBSP accredited. However, the program has IACBE accreditation. I am no fan of college rankings, but Hampton is ranked 218 by U.S. News, which makes them a tier-1 university.

Consultants? Maybe the degree alone won't allow them to achieve that. Professors? Pretty sure the degree alone could open that door.

There's also the University of the Incarnate Word's DBA. It's $1000 per credit but only has 45 credits.

Those (2) 4 week residencies kill it though. That is impossible with my work schedule.

Bummer! 4 weeks? Who came up with that crazy idea? I could understand a weekend or maybe a week.

The Canadian Dollar has been much lower for much longer in the past.

Sorry, no. The competition for traditional academic slots is huge. Nontraditional students do not come to the process with the requisite experiences held by traditional students. That doesn't mean there's not room for exceptions, but the competition is keen enough as it is without the handicap of not being part of the process while earning one's degree.

Right?! 1 week would be do-able but a whole month...not sure who has that sort of PTO built up at work! LOL

I wouldn't mind it either but only when I'm off from work in the summer. Not everyone has that luxury.
