Can anyone tell me the most affordable AACSB MBA online regardless of in state out of state? So far, LSUS seems to be a top contender. We don't want cheap if it's not a good school, but at the same time, don't want to go into extreme debt if there is a highly accredited strong program out there. This is for a professional with a lot of management experience in the financial industry. Thank you.
Isn't it the University of South Dakota? If not, it's very close to being the least costly AACSB-accredited distance MBA.
Check out the University of Louisiana - Lafayette. Their online AACSB accredited MBA program is about $12,800, which includes textbooks.
The lowest costs online AACSB MBA currently is Georgia Southwestern State, which runs a little under $8K ($257/credit x 30). https://www.gsw.edu/academics/schools-and-departments/college-of-business-and-computing/cobac-grad/mba-program There are a number of AACSB online programs from state universities that range from about $10K - $14K, including (in no particular order) University of Texas of the Permain Basin, Pittsburg State (KS), LSU-Shreveport, SE Oklahoma State, University of Louisiana-Lafayette, University of South Carolina - Aiken, University of Central Arkansas, University of Southern Arkansas, and University of Southern Indiana. There are probably some others I'm forgetting at the moment, but this should get you started. Good luck finding something that works for you.
Great Q! I have been looking for those as well and have looked quite hard. I wanted AACSB and no GMAT/GRE (or at least a waiver) that won't break the bank but am still looking at programs that are 25-30k USD. Not sure what others think but I applied to Aston University (triple accreditation) and was accepted ; still considering Walsh University and University of Birmingham... So far, I favor Aston - the triple accreditation is nice, global ranking in top 20 for online MBA; two years, synchronous classes, small class sizes...
I have an MBA from Southeastern Oklahoma State University which is an AACSB accredited program and costs $11,880. I enjoyed the program overall and I feel it did it’s job in moving me into a management position and then Assistant Vice President.
So I looked a bit more into the Universities mentioned in this thread - and given the cost (half of the programs I was looking it) I couldn't ignore them... I ended up applying to LSUS and Southeastern Oklahoma - both offer the specialization I'm after (Marketing) and both below $13k? Thanks for this thread OP!
@JoshD Thanks for the post about SE - I got accepted and am starting in October! The cost combined with AACSB accreditation just couldn't be beat!
Congrats! We have a Facebook group that you should be added to that has several of the professors and a lot of the students in it. It is great at getting a feel for each professor and so forth.
I assume you are starting October 21st? Syllabus preview will be October 14th. What classes are you taking? I am an academic coach for business ethics but it is an undergrad course.
You're correct; Taking MNGT 5773 and considering adding 5343 to go with two courses at a time to finish in a year. Any thoughts about the course-load? two quite manageable for someone working FT?
Principle Centered Leadership and Ethics can be coupled with anything so doing it in conjunction with Competitive Advantages and Strategy would be manageable.
