then Roger Stone got arrested https://www.politico.com/story/2019/01/25/roger-stone-arrested-following-mueller-indictment-1125445
I know that some people don't have a lot of respect for the NY Times but even if you filter out whatever you see as being "fake news," Roger Stone looks pretty guilty and will likely go to jail. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/26/opinion/sunday/maureen-dowd-trump-roger-stone.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage
I haven't been following this story, and the only thing I knew about Roger Stone before this is that Cenk Uygur hilariously freaked out and screamed at him in the middle of of what appeared to be a mental breakdown during an argument with Alex Jones. That said, the article you posted was an opinion piece. The problem with "fake news" doesn't usually stem from properly labeled opinion pieces, but from opinion pieces that are fronted as if they are hard-fact reporting. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even if it's wrong However, unless I just somehow missed it (it is early in the AM and my eyes are still heavy, so maybe I did???) I didn't see a single piece of hard evidence or even a clear description if what Stone is being accused of anywhere in that article. It does nothing at all to support the notion that he's guilty, it only presumes that he is.
As you said, it's an opinion piece. The details of the actual indictment are readily available to anyone who wants the information. This can get you started https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/25/us/politics/roger-stone-trump-mueller.html
