Eh, messages like "girls are not good at math" affect pretty much everyone. I once was amazed to discover my girls somehow managed to learn that "girls can't be smarter than boys". In their elementary school located in progressive Toronto. And that before sexuality is even a factor. Men in power have it the easiest, of course - sincerely, your Captain Obvious. Again, looking from progressive Toronto, all three levels of our government are led by powerful white men, sons of wealthy and powerful white men. Diversity our strength.

Also, global warming. How that shows that male privilege ain't real?

Uh, OK. I have issues with my mom too. So?

Clarify male privilege a little then

And thanks for calling me captain genuis when you CLEARLY did not get my point across

Someone sounds mad because no one wants to sleep with him. Men with desirable qualities have no problem with finding romantic partners. Women don't like crazy, physically unattractive misogynists. They only tolerate the rich ones like the president.

If you really can't get along with women, you can always try dating men.

I don't think feminism is ruining gender relations.

Where did I say am I am a misogynist???

    Thought gay men are opressed???

Also, again why are you assuming these things out of nowhere? Let me guess, next up you're gonna accuse me of being an incel? Because it just shows how badly you want to maintain that fabric of women BEING opressed. Women have and will always be a protected class.

You could argue certain aspects of it are though.

Just remember that straight men and lesbians have one thing in common: they all like women.

Okay, kids, that was a joke. Because this thread needs some lightening up.

I am all up for improving gender relations, but we need to find a way to do this without the needs of feminist lenses and even MRA lenses

Sexism is not so one-sided as people make it out to be, despite the irony that it is the only biological class to have 2 options.

MRA is a disgusting fringe supremacy ideology. Feminism is a huge tent, and it's mainstream is pretty much dead accurate on the facts. I grant you that many men do not like what feminists have to say. So, these men can stop being such a snowflakes.

Depends on the definition of "sexism", "people", and "one-sided". Please clarify. Second part of your statement appears to be syntactically and semantically broken, consider rewrite.

Here is the totality of feminist common ground: 1. many systems in society are biased in favour of men, and 2. we need to do something about it. Details of both statements seem to vary. In general, though, they are absolutely correct.

Again, what facts? What evidence are you talking about here???

And what system favor men??? Unless you live in a moderate patriarchy, no system has ever really favored men. From healthcare to church to the court to anything else

MRA is male supremacy then I say feminism is female supremacy, quit being a puppet and handle some truth
Already are the stupid ass intersectional feminists eating out certain groups of women off the opression hierarchy

Tell me again how "feminism" is mainstream?

    Too funny. But you're right.

I don't know if there was a study done or if this is merely anecdotal but apparently men tend to become more feminist (to whatever extent a man can be a feminist) when they father girls and women become less radical (and more liberal) in their feminism when they mother boys. Women got the right to vote by appealing to Congressmen who had daughters.

I'm not gonna touch this line for anything.

But, out of curiosity, what is this "MRA" that y'all are spouting? Even Wiki doesn't list a meaning to the abbreviation that would have anything to do with this thread.

    LOL.
Now you're either trolling, or trying to get people write your high school paper on the subject.

FWIW, I have daughters. I don't think it is quite so crude though.

Oh yeah? No you quit projecting Mr. White knight troll!

Listen, women should have rights, just as other human beings. Mind blown!

The disabled, the elderly, religious minorities, etc

However, gotta understand certain rights gotta be handled properly, within certain groups bud, ok?

Interesting huh? I wonder if the lens of religious households and race played along into the study.

    Yep, this is correct.

I am not a misognyist who wants to just strip women out of all their rights. But I do think feminism needs to go back the beginner type if the dynamic between men and women wants to improve itself.

Look at the consumer base, you will see high school, college and young millenial women make up like 80% of the consumer market. And they're doing it all at the expense of men's wallets.
