Terrible article riddled with factual inaccuracies and baseless assertions.

The author would be pleased to know, however, that I already don't like George Zimmerman, already know that he is an angry, ignorant buffoon and didn't need my intelligence insulted in order to come to that conclusion.

Can you not open your mind to emotion?

He's not a sympathetic fellow except for the time that his head was meeting a walkway.

Yeah well, the guy had a gun, and was explicitly told by the 911 operator to stay the fudge in his car. Plus whatever happened, he had to escalate the situation several times to find himself on the ground. Not exactly sympathetic.

Abner, the court looked at all the evidence and then a jury verdict said that George Zimmerman committed justifiable homicide, but he did not commit murder. Abner, do you have any new evidence to the contrary?

Abner - Calling Zimmerman a scumbag is a disservice to scumbags everywhere. Please refer to a thesaurus for more suitable terms. For example

    scum·bag
    [ˈskəmˌbaɡ]
    NOUN
    informal
    1. a contemptible or objectionable person.
      synonyms
      despicable person/people · rabble · riffraff · refuse · garbage · trash · vermin · good-for-nothing(s) · undesirable(s) · the lowest of the low · the dregs of society · trog(s) · dirt · dirty dog(s) · rat(s) · louse(s) · toad(s) · worm(s) · scumbag(s) · crud(s) · cur(s) · no-good(s) · pond scum · scuzzball(s) · sleazeball(s) · dastard(s)

Oh . . . excuse me. For a moment I thought we were talking about David Lady.

(Cheap shot about a known millist, but too tempting to resist.) :p

Abner, thank goodness the U.S. court system is based on the rule of law, instead of factless emotions.

Ah, whatever. He gets to be the guy who murdered a kid over a bag of skittles1 Some hero, go hail him!

Abner, your opinion-based statement differs from courtroom facts. Also, the judge and jury disagreed with you. The United States is a Republic, which means it is governed by rules and laws. Abner, you are blessed to be governed by such a marvelous system.

Actually, the court never ruled on whether Zimmerman was a scumbag. You see, me again, it's possible to be both a scumbag and not guilty of murder.

I'll be happy to remind you that you said this once all the little Trump minions are in jail. Who knows, maybe even Trump himself.

It's also possible to not meet the legal definition of murder while still meeting the common definition of murder, or one's subjective interpretation of murder.

People aren't ruled innocent; they're ruled not guilty. That means there wasn't enough evidence for the jury to convict. The prosecution has to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. The standard of proof is lower in civil court, which is why OJ had to pay up. In other words, just because you get a not guilty verdict doesn't mean that you're innocent.

Any unarmed man who attacks, challenges, screams at or berates an armed man is clearly mentally unstable. For example, watch this angry unarmed man do exactly that -- and please note that he was shot dead in the video:

    https://nypost.com/2018/09/20/shirtless-dad-son-allegedly-gun-down-neighbor-over-trash-fight/

If someone is armed, then simply avoid them (at all cost) and be polite to them (at all cost) because you never know who you're dealing with. That's why they aptly said in the old west that: "An armed society is a polite society."

All I see is a bunch of dipshits, all of em. Clearly the two shirtless white trash are bucking for a fight, or they wouldn't have showed up with guns. They will spend a long time in jail. Idiots. May they rot in jail. One dude is dude over a trash dispute!
