Just reviewed their web site, esp. in light of Tim's comments above. Without going into detail, my impression is that they are about as credible as the MBA at William Loveland College. Yep, campers, I'm calling bullshit. Speaking of which - not to hijack the thread - has anyone noticed that David Lady has virtually disappeared from everywhere?
Thank you Ted for giving me an opportunity to promote one of my favorite programs https://www.pennfoster.edu/programs-and-degrees/law-enforcement/private-investigator-career-diploma
One could watch one of the films in which he has acted (he only did make-up for the one cited above by Kizmet) and compare them with his our David Lady's pathetic, whiny appearance on the two videos he posted on YouTube about DEAC and the action against his um-school by DEAC. Alas, these videos appear to have disappeared from YouTube, as almost all references to William Loveland College appear to have disappeared from the 'net. (Who knows how much Lady must have spent to have his shoddy reputation erased from cyber existence?) Fortunately, I downloaded both videos when he was dumb enough to post them. (I figured it wouldn't hurt to have them in case he tries to sue me for pointing out his foibles. But no, I will not send them to anyone - it's too time consuming.) Yeah, I know that I lay it on thick about a guy that many people on this forum liked at one time. But when all is said and done, I concluded that what he was trying to pull off with the Loveland act and transferring in a DEAC accreditation from another school was downright sleazy. I'm not a big DEAC fan, but they aced it on this one.
Considering that IMDB's David Lady was listed as a makeup artist for that film, it seems unlikely to me to be our David Lady, who nowadays is heading a logistics technology consultancy.
Hearing that David Lady is claiming to head a "logistics technology consultancy" is like hearing him claim to be the provost of a college (for which, he finally admitted on this forum, he never earned a salary.) Or Rich Douglas claiming to be a research muck-a-muck for MIGS. (The difference, of course, is that Rich straightened out his act and went legit. He just couldn't keep his at-tee-tude in his pants. Which is a shame; he could be quite useful around here.) No, I'm afraid that I would take any claim by David Lady with a heavy-duty grain of salt. And a pair of hip-high boots.
I might mention that I recently had a short but pleasant pm conversation with Rich. He seems to be quite well and visits DI on occasion. I'm not sure he plans to shift to a more active role here but, as has long been the case, he is welcome to do so at his pleasure.
