"The MCIT program empowers students without computer science backgrounds to succeed in computing and technology fields." https://www.coursera.org/degrees/mcit-penn

I wouldn't call it a computer science degree and they in fact don't.

But Coursera does have a master's in computer science degree and a master's in computer science in data science degree from the University of Illinois.

Not in the name of the degree itself, but they do say this: "The online Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) degree is a first-of-its-kind graduate-level degree program in Computer Science tailored for non-Computer Science majors."

What's called computer science has varied quite a bit. From an engineering offshoot to less mathematically rigorous business and liberal arts programs to settling on IS and IT designations to whatever unholy mess now exists. I guess that ABET helps some in distinguishing between programs.

Where was this degree from UPenn years ago? Lol. I wish they are offering Master of Business Administration or Master in Finances through CourseRA. I want to get rich...no longer chasing Ph.D. :)

I thought the University of Pennsylvania offers Global Master of Business Administration through CourseRA; apparently, it is a false alarm. ;)
