I once attended a synagogue that had a bronze dedication plaque in the social hall. The plaque contained an erroneous apostrophe. Truly a typo for the ages!

Yes to Oxford comma. Meh to two spaces after a full stop, no strong feeling there. But it's interesting that APA is advising against hyphenating prefixes, as I've found myself hyphenating fewer and fewer of them in the last few years.

How do you feel about that hot issue regarding commas going inside quote marks but semi-colons placed outside? Isn't such an exclusionary practice a reinforcement of archaic class boundaries? And don't even get me started about 3 vs. 4 ellipses...(.)
