Trump says that he won't prevent the release of the remaining files on the Kennedy assassination, which have been kept secret until now.

Trump says he intends to allow release of classified files on Kennedy assassination | Fox News

The files contain information on Oswald's visit to the Soviet and Cuban embassies in Mexico City, weeks before the assassination. Speculation is that those embassies were being closely surveiled, with the willing assistance of the Mexican government.

The JFK assassination documents are being released. You can find them here:

Apparently there have been some redactions in some of the documents at the request of the CIA and FBI. Trump says that he wants these reviewed in the next 180 days.

There are some hilarious revelations in these records.

Good grief what a hoot to read through. I’ve been reading for the last two hours, should probably get to bed.

    Fascinating!

Former CIA Director Adm. James Woolsey was just on Dana Perino's show on Fox, commenting on the JFK files. Apparently there's things people like him can say now that the information is out there, that they couldn't say before.

He says that the biggest defector the CIA ever got during the Cold War was the head of Romanian intelligence. This individual told them that the JFK assassination was a big topic of conversation in eastern bloc intelligence at the time, as one would expect. The story that was circulating there was that Nikita Khrushchev was deeply angry about how Kennedy had bested him during the Cuban Missile Crisis and ordered that Kennedy be assassinated. That plot apparently became fairly advanced and that's why Oswald visited the Soviet embassy in Mexico City where he met with a KGB assassination specialist.

But, so the story goes, Khrushchev got cold feet and started to fear that if Kennedy was killed and it was ever traced back to Moscow, nuclear war might result. So Kruschev called off the hit at the last moment. Except that Oswald was so committed to it that he went ahead with it anyway.

That's the story that was circulating among the eastern European spooks at any rate. Woolsey can't say whether it's true, but he does give it some credence.

Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa. He literally wrote a book on KGB disinformation:

Great background on where modern "fake news" come from. Also, gives appreciation of how utterly evil Kremlin is. Remember that Putin was highly trained in this stuff.

He used to write an occasional column for some blogs but it seems he's gone deep again. Deep out of fear or because he'd plugged his book enough or because he's too old for this thit.

As much as it pains me to write, since America is supposed to be the “good guys”, but it looks increasingly to me that CIA + FBI = KGB.
