Regardless of any ethnic implications, why parents don't pull their kids from schools when this sort of thing happens is beyond me. Step one is to rescue your child!

Not everyone can afford that. Some decades back, in NYC, Black parents were busting their guts to put their kids into Catholic schools. Some Jewish parents as well. The majority of the students in Catholic schools were not Catholic.

Those schools began losing the financial race and began closing. Now the socialist scum are doing all they can to close the successful charter schools.

Nowadays, there are even working single parents who homeschool, and that's legal in all fifty states. It's not a matter of whether one can do it, it's a matter of whether it's a high enough priority.

    +100000000!!!!

One thing I don't understand is, why is doing well in school considered being "white"? Many of my most talented students have been minorities of all races, including black.

People were doing it here, decades back, too - because the Catholic schools were simply better. WAY better, where I lived then! It was easy - my wife and I made it happen for our sons. All we had to do was sign one form, directing the education portion of our property taxes to the Catholic School Board instead of the Public one.

It used to be that the last two years of Catholic high school also required a fee - about $800 per year IIRC, but that was eliminated before my sons got there. I remember that my older son's best school friend wasn't Catholic either - he was a Jain, and is a pharmacist today. The idea isn't nearly so popular today, as there no longer appears to be a quality difference between Public and Catholic schools, around here.

Anyway, it all turned out well. Johann the Heathen has Catholic sons and grandchildren, now. My sons became Catholic of their own accord as adults - no pressures. Both married nice girls from Italian families... that was 20+ years ago and it's all good. Those schools did a great job, back then.

Decimon said that, not me. (It's not a controversial comment, just being clear.)
