RedOctoberBlack here. I'm currently looking to expand my education a bit more with a 1 year masters degree. Currently researching and trying to find information about programs in Asia or Europe that can be conducted online via distance learning. I'm preferably looking for something with a much more competitive price than typical American online programs. I'm in my mid 30s, work in Asia, have done so for nearly 10 years now. I enjoy spending time with my wife, teaching, and media (offline (dead-tree) and online).
I'd like something in Business, primarily because it was my major for my BS. But, I've been teaching for quite a while, so possibly a Masters in Education. I had researched things up quite a bit earlier this year, but I can't seem to find the research that I'd completed. So, I'm basically starting from scratch again.
ROB - you're killing me with the duplicate posts http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/35100-new-users-ask-where-did-my-posts-go.html
It's no big deal ROB just a newbie mistake. But this Masters degree thingy, you have kind of a big decision to make. An MBA is not at all like an MEd. And neither is whatever happens afterwards. Fortunately for you, we have subforums related to both. Business and MBA degrees Education, Teaching and related degrees
I'm aware, and they do both travel different ways. I'd looked at Governors University earlier this year, and they do offer to admit work experience. I've been involved with the international education market now, for about the past 9.8 years. But, before that it was Business Management and Administration for about 8 years. At the moment, I'm just looking for the fastest route towards a masters degree. It would allow me to apply for a residents permit in China in 2019.
