Lesson to be learned: If you're a black man who dares to step off the Democrat Plantation and support President Trump, the mainstream media will do a thorough investigation into your life, and publish a story attempting to discredit and embarrass you.

Nope, no media bias here. Move along, folks, nothing to see here.

Sigh. If you're a man doing your darnedest to get into cameras' view at some of the most reported events in the world; if you fill the internets with pages upon pages of the craziest stuff there is; if, furthermore, you are a former member of the inner circle of a particularly nutty black supremacist death cult (one that promoted murder of white people as a religious duty) and was indicted for murder...

If then a media outlet runs a story on all this, reasonable people will still find fault with "the media" and rush to defend your character.

This is among the most devastating effect of Trump victory last year, one that does not even require him to move a muscle in his official capacity as President. To have people's (his supporters, mostly) brains broken this way. No matter what happens next, the damage has been done.

How did the media find all this out about someone who was simply standing behind the President?

Rhetorical question; the leftist media saw a black man who wasn't going along with the narrative that President Trump is an evil racist, and went into full investigative mode in an attempt to find anything at all that might discredit him, and therefore further their agenda that all minorities hate Republicans.

That's what "journalism" has come to these days.

He held a "Blacks for Trump" sign that had a URL to his web site, on every rally. That is, he actively worked to make his views public; the media obliged.

Yeah, and people have noticed Trump's peculiar relationship with race quite separate from this incident. Honorable people. On many sides. On many sides.

If he was a non-descript, regular American, do you honestly think the media would have even run a story about him?

    Conservative blacks must be punished for not conforming;

Can you cite just one instance of Donald Trump acting or speaking in any sort of racist way?

Who do you call "regular American"? Also, how come a black guy looked so conspicuous in a Trump rally?

Hmmm, one instance of the birther-in-chief acting or speaking in any sort of racist way? That's a tough one.

Let me Google that for you.

He was enthusiastic and directly behind the President. The media went apeshit, seeing a black man not acting according to their script and expectations. He wasn't fitting their narrative that Trump is an evil racist, so they went into search and destroy mode.

    In other words, you can't.

BTW, the whole "birther" movement was started by.....drum roll please.....Hillary Clinton.

Oh come on now. Like there's a chance a guy purported to head "Blacks for Trump" had any chance of NOT being scrutinized, or conversely, if there was a prominent Clinton supporter who was quite likely a murderer and certainly a core member in a death cult, that would not be covered. I mean, Huma is neither of those, and her made up connection to Muslim Brotherhood got far more coverage than this loser. And BTW: Trump campaign had control over who is seen directly behind the candidate, and put the guy there on purpose to improve optics. Shows Trump's famous management skill, for sure. Also: apparently the mighty "Blacks for Trump" organization consists of this one guy. Very fitting.

(I know he has black supporters; I've met some. Yet, his support in this demo is, what, single digit? 7%?).

In other words, that was not a good faith question; it's literally "Russian troll trick #1". Why would I spend more time answering this query than you making it?

Drum roll please... no it wasn't. For a guy so keen on demanding proof of allegations, you are sure fond of posting long-debunked whoopers if they harm your designated enemy. And that is precisely the kind of hypocrisy supporters of lame causes are drawn to, be it Putinist, Orbanist, neo-Confederate, Stalinist, you name it.

You're missing the entire point; WHY was he so scrutinized?

There are lots of blacks who support Trump. I can't imagine why they're not more public about it, though.....

Also known as "oldest cop-out in debate history"; you could refute my argument, you just can't be bothered.

See, Stanislav, this is why you really need to broaden your horizons and get your news from places other than leftist propaganda outlets like CNN, MSNBC, and Snopes.

Fact checking the media -- yes, the Clinton machine did start the birther movement - Washington Times

Yeah, I really wish you back up this thesis with, I dunno, exit poll numbers maybe? Oh right: they don't back you up.

Except you didn't make an argument. You demanded that your opponent provided "proof" that you would then deconstruct using post hoc standard of your choosing. Dude, I know this trick.

Little pop quiz: which major Presidential candidate made a comment that was characterized as "textbook racism" by his own surrogate and the senior-most elected official of his own party? I repeat: "textbook racism". It a reply meant to defend said candidate, no less.

Gah. You shouldn't expose people to junk like this, before reading it yourself and seeing that the article actually does not support its own headline. Awful, crass, fallacy-based demagoguery. One you already used on me once, to boot - and didn't contradict my response then. L-A-M-E.

Agein, slowly: Clinton campaign did. not. start. the Birther. movement. Neither did Trump, BTW: but he coopted it and assumed leadership in it.
