As long as they didn't kill the guy in the wrong house, this sounds like a win-win.

What makes you think he hasn't already got them?

My understanding is that "no-knock" warrants are somewhat rare in the world of white-collar crime. They are typically reserved for situations where the subjects might be armed or prepared to flush/destroy evidence. It has also been suggested that the raid was unlikely to have been "pre-dawn" as Federal search warrants are not allowed to be served before 6am. There are exceptions, but again, it's rare.

I know that you don't read the newspapers but there's this little investigation going on. You might have heard about it.

No, there's a big investigation going on. It's supposed to be about Russian involvement in the election, which would include Democrats, but is instead about anything Trump.

Russia, some more. This time from Salon. Apparently the Salon article pulls heavily from an article in The Nation. Keep in mind however that both Salon and The Nation are know to be full on Trump supporters and full participants in right wing fake news stories.

What if the DNC Russian “hack” was really a leak after all? A new report raises questions media and Democrats would rather ignore - Salon.com
