What’s going on with the Hate on the Left? I have to say these guys on the left are starting to worry me. My cousin who normally is very liberal sent me this video.

I can come up with at least 50 more recent videos like this. This one is the most entertaining. Isolated incidents can be found for both reps and dems. Of course, this is technically not a rep official, but you could say he is from the pulpit, and especially around voting time.

I have close second-hand accounts of how our Liberal MP acts in his business and private life. It's not pretty, so much so that I couldn't bring myself to vote for him in our normally super-close riding (he won, in a Liberal wave. The Reds swiped Toronto, and much of Ontario). So? Does it really reflect on the party? How about on small-l liberalism, or as Steve insists, the Democratic Party, because it is "basically the same"? Yes, a flawed person can be Liberal or Democrat.

 

Bizarrely, I did interact briefly with our former Conservative MP, then a candidate: he was most courteous and helpful. Imagine that.

 

But remember; the Democrats are the tolerant, compassionate, and inclusive ones.
