Dr. Huber was an AED poster and I believe he may have posted here at DI in the early days. A quote from our Moderator, Bruce, in 2005: "IIRC, our old a.e.d. friend Dennis Huber earned 14 college degrees, including a M.Div., J.D., and a D.B.A." I believe (and Bruce's post would tend to confirm) that he has earned degrees of a religious nature, from well-known universities, in addition to those listed in Vinipink's posting, above. I Googled him and I see he has a couple of books on Amazon. J.
Here's an early DI reference to Huber http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/2944-something-fun-e-d-archive.html The aed link is still good. In fact, you can still go back and read all those old aed threads. There may be a nice little Masters thesis buried in there somewhere.
Yes, and I believe the count is even higher now, as he seems to have added a LL.M. to his stable. What's even more impressive is that the great majority of his degrees are graduate level, he's not like the loon who has 18 Associate's degrees, or whatever it is. In the interest of fairness, it should be noted that some of his degrees were somewhat double-dipped; IIRC, he has a M.A.R. and M.Div. from Liberty, but the M.A.R. is accepted in its entirety towards the M.Div. Still jaw-dropping impressive, though!
Apparently he is now a legitimate scholarly expert in Forensic Accounting profession. Rather impressive. Great resource for Capella business department.
Yes, legit scholar. But not a middle of the road, safe one. Likes to sue people and challenge organizations, bigger the better, real iconoclast. Of course the attributes of being a character and shaking things up often make for a fair-to-middling academic. And speaking of, when are you going to get those foundations and professional papers done through the ACCA so you can join him as an accounting academic? My teenage son has been working through them as well, preparing for F1 now.
Blazing through. If you get the bachelor's from Oxford Brookes, then pursue the professional papers and get the masters through UCL, I'm thinking you'd probably be qualified to get on the tenure track for accounting academia in North America.
It's actually the top possible speed: 4 papers a sitting. Which is not the best for absorbing material; thankfully, passing grade is just 50%. I plan to go for Oxford Brookes BSc and the London Master's.
