Sorry, I don't get it. So the market speculator made a bet that lost him about 4% of his fortune, which I'm sure happened hundreds of times in his career, quietly. Why is this news? It's not remotely the same magnitude as eg. Trump's Atlantic City casinos debacle. Frankly, I'm kind of impressed he's still trading at his age. Now, Dutch regulator illegally posting this information is a story, albeit not a particularly surprising one; government screw-ups happen.

Why do you need to defend a guy who robs nations and tax payers of money? A man that helped communist steal property in Hungary (I read up on him). Then uses said moneys to manipulate the public in other nations into enacting plans and policies that they do not want by radical means? Ok so maybe he did not dump the 12 billion into just the US, but he has dumped billions into the US and it has effected the way politics and the media operate.

I explained that already. The guy is a stand-in for "Jewish secret conspiracy" and is used to smear legitimate opposition for decades. It's utterly unimportant what he's like in real life; suffice to say I don't believe in secret world government with Soros or without.

With that, I'm done arguing this. If you wish, you can think that I'm part of his conspiracy: as I said, I did have 2 high school physics teachers (and I believe at least one professor) receiving stipend from Soros. Clearly, that's part of a secret organization. Sheesh.

So because I don't like a guy who worked for the Nazis and then the communist I hate Jews???? You need help. I love the Jews. I hope they all come to Christ but as the people of God I love and respect them.

The poll ended on Feb. 5, 2017 with the following results:

The poll choices were to "select all that apply."

70% - Russians did NOT psychologically make American citizens change their votes with cyberwarfare & manipulation.

15% - Russians DID hack the DNC and expose immorality or criminality, causing American citizens to change their votes.

15% - Russians DID psychologically make American citizens change their votes with cyberwarfare and media manipulation.

Did the Russians influence the above poll?

    I wouldn't discount the possibility...

Edit: damned Russkies must be blocking my picture. Or I'm doing something wrong. Nah, it's the Russkies.

People on higher education board acting like 20-responses online poll means anything... and like they don't know the difference between perception and reality. Sad!

And, btw, Russkies so did affect the elections. In fact, it would not be below them to affect this poll as well - the company "Internet Research Agency" on Saushkina St., St. Petersburg has personnel for spamming polls, as they regularly do on more popular news sites. Not sure they'd bother, because they did not know this board exists.

You never know. Another forum I'm on isn't bigger than this one, and it has someone who's really obviously part of the web brigades.

Stanislav, why would Russians meddle with an online poll at degreeinfo.com?

Hypothetically: because they have a government contract on "denying Russia's role in US elections"; propaganda outfits swim in money last few years for obvious reasons. Bosses get rich; drones still get just crumbs. These people are not superspies; it's a sleazy corrupt company staffed by low-level office workers, paid from Vladislav Surkov's secret slush fund. They have a broad contract and need to report work on it to get paid, hopefully at maximum Kremlin agreed to pay. What could happen is this: they'd auto-register sockpuppet accounts on degreeinfo.com long time ago, just because it's an active discussion platform. Then their Google agent would pick up this poll and one of their "11-ruble" army would get it assigned, together with 50 other things. It'd take him 5 mitutes total to vote 10 times using preexisting socks; it'll cost his boss like 2 bucks; they still don't remember this site exists.

What is MORE interesting is your motive. Why are you keep lying in that other thread? What's in it to you?

That's exactly what they're called: "brigades". Also, "Olgino trolls" and Saushkina trolls", from the now-known addresses of the troll factory (one of the trolls actually sued them for unpaid wages, believe it or not); and "11 ruble commenter" (because their contract became public, and at the time, their salary divided by the number of comments they were expected to leave in a month worked out to 11 rubles; about 20 cents). Another term is "sofa battalion"; but this also covers people who wage those battles for free. Eg., you can say that I and me again are sofa warriors.

Stanislav, you are asking a leading question that has your desired answer embedded into it.

We could always vote again, not anonymously this time. I promise I won't even fire up my VPN!

Given DT's erratic first weeks and importance of bilateral trade, this seems eminently reasonable. Maybe they could refrain from calling it "war room" though.

Obviously, for that girl, you and I are also white supremacist. It just underscores the importance of not appearing as a raving lunatic when promoting a cause. That's BLM Toronto by the way. BLM TO is a weird group most known for holding up the TO Pride Parade last year (they were unhappy that Toronto Police had a float in the parade). They made a list of demands while the event was in progress. I'm not a big fan of the overcompensated and insular TO Police, but come the F on! Even fellow lefties are not big fans of BLM TO.

You help the Administration mislead the public to Make America Great Again? Awesome. You probably don't realize it, but it's a classic vatnik behaviour.

Or so the National Review hopes. I would not be too concerned about it: Breibart crowd has the ability to spin anything into derangement, so they will certainly try. This article is one attempt. Thankfully, on the other side, they promote the likes of Milo Yiannopoulos as heroes; good luck with that with the moderates.

On the subject of Russkies: Robert Kraft hopes that Trump will help him return the Super Bowl ring Vladimir Putin stole from him back in 2005. Anyone thinks this will actually happen? We can have a poll.
