Accounting II also goes by the names "Principles of Accounting II", "Accounting Principles II" or something like that.

I had it under the name of Accounting 102. Accounting 101 would have been Accounting I I'm sure. So long as the college has a business curriculum then I'm pretty sure you won't have a problem.

If it's an AACSB program then it will be structured a certain way. Or CPA.

    No.

US colleges teach the six credit first-year accounting as either a separate course in Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting, or as Principles of Accounting I and II. The combination of both principles courses is usually equivalent to completing the separate financial and managerial accounting courses.

Financial Accounting doesn't necessarily map to Accounting Principles I, nor Managerial Accounting to Principles II.

If the course sequences are mixed as in, say, Financial Accounting and Accounting Principles II, the student is likely to have covered some financial accounting topics in both courses while never seeing some topics that would have been covered in the Managerial Accounting course.
