Saybrook is a decent school with a kind of holistic/transformative perspective that you might not find at other schools so you'd want to be certain that you could buy in to that way of thinking before enrolling. The price tag is fairly high and so if you're just looking for a generic Masters degree I'm sure you can find a cheaper alternative.

That depends on what you think about humanistic psychology. One of Saybrook's founders was Rollo May. Among those who favor its approach to psychology, Saybrook has some reputation.

It's less prominent among clinical or research psychologists in general. I wouldn't expect it to score very highly in the USNews grad school psychology rankings.

    Saybrook serves a specialty market.

    Based on the op's self-description I'm guessing he's not a big fan.

I don't know what you do or what you plan to do for a living but an MA in Psych is probably going to require a whole bunch of writing (essays, etc) and so if that's not your strong suit then you might want to consider another direction. The most common online Masters degree is an MBA and it would likely require less writing and be, in some ways, more generically useful regarding employment. In any case, good luck.
