The law is worded incorrectly, albeit you are correct on what the words are.

The a comparison involving Hitler is reached, therefore it cannot be just approaching. It must touch. An asymptotic line never touches, therefore the actual comparison cannot happen.

Either Godwin's law wording is incorrect, or no thread contains comparison involving Hitler.

Just because an event has a probability of less than one doesn't mean it can't occur. Only an event with a probability of zero can't occur. So a finite online discussion could still have a reference to Hitler, it's just that it's more likely to have one the longer it gets, and guaranteed to have one once it's infinitely long.

Which raises the question of whether or not there are alternate universes in which, despite the high probability of such, no reference to Hitler is ever made. Or, vice versa, that every forum thread ever posted ends up having a reference to Hitler.

If there are an infinite number of alternative universes then the answer is yes.

This is the presumption I often read in articles and books on the subject, but it's actually pretty easily debunked by simple mathematics, and maybe a little bit of programming concept.

There are infinitely many odd numbers as there are infinitely many even numbers. Pick any integer at random and you are 50% likely to pick an even number. Now imagine that there are infinitely many universes. In each universe there is only 1 law of physics- a set of 2 integers that follow the pattern of {2n, 2n+1} where n is the result of a random number generator.

Now what do we have? Infinitely many universes, each of them containing 2 random numbers, one is always odd and one is always even. In absolutely no universe are there two odd or two even numbers. We therefore can conclude that given infinitely many universes, with infinitely many possibilities of constructions of that universe, it is not necessarily so that a particular pattern absolutely must exist within one of those universes.

Now that we have that concept in mind, all we have to do is tweak it a little to say that the law of physics in each universe is not just the generation of a set of numbers but a set of conditional statements wherein IF (the number generated) is odd, THEN mention Hitler in forum, ELSE don't mention Hitler in forum. We then have infinitely many universes, and in each universe Hitler is mentioned in half of all forums. In no universe is he mentioned in every forum and in no universe is he mentioned in no forums.

If it's hard to relate this to reality, consider that this simplified model can be expanded ad infinitum (no pun intended) to replace "mention Hitler in a forum" with all of the laws of physics and sequences of events that are required for Hitler to be mentioned in a web forum in a real, complex universe such as ours.

To veer somewhat off-topic, I use mathematical exercises in infinity similar to this one to refute "the anthropic principle" when considering cosmological arguments for the existence of God. Now, now, now, I'm not trying to incite that debate here, I'm just mentioning that because I marvel at just how wide reaching the implications can be for facts that can be derived from simple math.

I am not prepared to concede this point at this time.

The “biased mainstream media” is and has been completely out-of-touch with mainstream Americans for many years. However, it has grown conspicuously worse in the 21st Century. However, the internet has concurrently provided multiple new media-outlets to reach the American people with important news, messages and discussions. As a result, the mainstream media is not the only outlet to reach the American people. Donald Trump (and others) can now completely bypass “biased mainstream media outlets” to reach the American people.

As an example, last week (11.22.16), Donald Trump completely bypassed the biased mainstream media by releasing a message to the American people on YouTube and on Facebook describing his upcoming agenda:

    (2 minutes & 37 seconds)

Trump (and others) no longer need to rely on a “biased mainstream media” to communicate with the American people. This is a new phenomenon that is unique to the 21st Century because it didn’t exist in the 20th Century. Trump is brilliantly using this new medium to bypass a “biased mainstream media” that forcibly promotes socialistic and communistic ideologies (1) that have failed miserably throughout the planet and (2) do not resonate with Constitutionalist-Americans.

The mainstream media promotes corporatism, not socialism. As for "Constitutionalist-Americans", I thought you guys hated hyphenization?

First major gun laws restrictions and 1st universal healthcare was NAZI Germany......they were true socialist. They did not win but 44% of the vote. They got UNIONs (aka fellow socialists) and Catholic groups to support them to win by the ballot.

Socialist and Fascism can be the same.

Why would Americans who believe in the Constitution hate hyphens? Also, can you think outside-the-box by naming a Constitutionalist-American who hates hyphens?

The elite media is comprised of those who own and operate CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, Newsweek, ABC, CBS and many other self-anointed elitist-blowhards. The elite use their media outlets as their horn to openly espouse:
    1. Cradle-to-grave care in the United States aka socialism or communism.
    2. Nationalized healthcare.
    3. A stipend for all Americans.
    4. Abolition of citizen-owned guns (or gun control laws to start the process).
    5. Excessive governmental regulations of businesses and industries.
    6. Excessive governmental regulations of free market functions.
    7. Fetacide i.e. a woman's right to kill her unborn child up until birth.
    8. Euthanasia i.e. a person's right to kill other people, such as the elderly, those with Alzheimer's or dementia, suicidal or depressed people, the deformed, etc.

You can say you support Donald Trump, who wants to pick winners and losers like Carrier, who advocates big government restrictions on trade and immigration, and who selected a Goldman Sachs banker from Wall Street as his Treasury Secretary. Or you can say you support free markets. But pick one.

American DEMONcrats and REPukes are not liberty lovers. They both only want their rules as THEY know best. Freedom is hard and you need individual responsibly.
