@thequietman ... i am still considering between University of South Wales and University of the People, though i am sure that the formal has more weightage. I think the best way to relax yourself is to see if they issue you a formal Admission Letter from the University of South Wales.

    20 dollars fee

Unfortunately they are asking for a 20 dollar non refundable fee to be considered. This sets off alarm bells for me immediately.

Admissions application fees are the norm, aren't they?

    But Non-refundable !

However, non refundable ! No admission then no refund. Leaves it open to a nice little earner. Would you agree?

No, I wouldn't agree. Every school I've ever applied to has a non-refundable application fee.

    That's totally normal.

To be honest, there's a difference between being cautious and being paranoid, and you sound a lot closer to the latter.

Never heard of a school with a refundable admission fee. As a parent of two college-aged children, that'd be the best deal ever.

    Degree will state UNICAF University

Hi, some more information from them. The degree will state UNICAF Uni, so Uni of South Wales will not appear. If a scholarship is given, it is still an attractive degree nevertheless. Just wondering about accreditation now.

Yes apologies. This online degree stuff is quite new to me. I am just being overly careful. I got some good advice regarding my mba on here, so I am just looking for reassurance. Thanks.

@thequiteman ... To my understanding, University of South Wales and UNICAF University are two separate legal entities. If i am not mistaken, you can opt to either enrol in anyone of these two or in some other choices they have. But correct me if i am wrong.

There are three sets of programs:
    1. Programs offer by the University of Nicosia
o Up to the master level
    2. Programs offer by the University of South Wales
    o Up to master level
    3. Programs offer by UNICAF - University of Nicosia – Africa
o Up to the doctorate level

I am Enrolled in their MBA program. Its not only for African students, anyone can be enrolled. I am in New Zealand. Great value for Money. Total cost around 2800 pounds and much cheaper than what's on the Uni's website. Need to go through the UNICAF to get the discount.

Diploma will be issued from the University of South Wales only. Not from Unicaf or any other partners!!!

This is amazingly impressive news. Seeing that you are on the inside, can you find out the cost of doctorates for non-African residents?

@Derina ... thanks, I believe this MBA Programme is a good deal. How much intensive it is, i.e. how much time per week you spent working on the MBA?

I was told the opposite. Cheap because from UNICAF Uni and not Uni of South Wales. Strange.
